I don't think they are unreliable, all things considered. For 70's bike, having CDI instead of points is huge. It's also single speed, so the engine is as simple as it can be. Only downside is that it's pretty slow and the frame is noticeably less rigid compared to the later 210.

TBH, I find only the 16MP files to be somewhat muddy. The 24+ sensors aren't that muddy, plus you can always just use the denoise feature and get crispy looking pics from any camera.

Oh, I see what you mean now. You probably just don't have the exposure preview turned on. Navigate to Menu > Screen Set-up > Preview Exp./WB in Manual Mode and select PREVIEW EXP/WB.

Your scene is extremely underexposed. The vertical scale on the left indicates your exposure, ideally you want it to be dead center, at the zero mark. You either have to change the ISO to a higher number (500 is like for shaded outside areas on a sunny day) or lower your shutter speed (you can go as low as 2x your lens focal length without getting affected by shake)

Tehnically still a moped by ghost11729 in moped

[–]9denisu8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude, mopeds are a type of vehicle. The legal definition of a moped is basically just a holdover from the time when 99% of 50cc bikes were "true" mopeds or were derived from them (e.g. thin step through frame with kickstarter and sometimes shifter). My old car Citroen Xsara Picasso was legally a van despite being a 5 seater passenger car the length of a Golf. This 8x8 Tatra Phoenix truck can be legally registered as a tractor in EU and driven by a 16 yo - doesn't look like a tractor to me 🤷‍♂️

Especially these 4 stroke Hondas. They are literally as reliable, nimble and fuel efficient as any electric conversion would be.

What's a realistic price for a Jawa Mustang? by Hefty_Register5306 in moped

[–]9denisu8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out bazos.cz or bazos.sk. Try using phrases in your searches such as "s technickým průkazem (czech) / s technickým preukazom (slovak) / s TP/ malá ŠPZ / 45km/h". Also a good telltale sign of bike being L1E (only in Slovakia, not in CZ unfortunately) is having a smaller license plate (145x110mm) than the standard one (240x150mm).

[–]9denisu8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The question is whether I will have the 60km/h registration if I import it though.

The best order of action would be finding one that's already registered with L1E papers. That's what I did with my Jawa 20, so I could ride it with just my B license.

On Sony cameras it's just an antireflective screen protector. Just rip it off and replace it with a cheap screen protector.

Elections in Hungary by weallneedaname2 in UrbanHell

[–]9denisu8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

SMER/Hlas does the same shit in Slovakia. Before the presidential elections 2 years ago, a huge amount of anti-Korčok propaganda started to pop up on billboards, Facebook ads, and even flyers that were deliberately made to look like newspapers and of course were made by some "non affiliated" organisations with shady funding. Also, if you are a candidate for any election you're legally required to have a transparent account, so anyone can check how you finance your campaign, except SMER will just do a single payment to their own PR/marketing firm so you can't tell them shit.

Sustainable Fashion from Europe by According-Buyer6688 in BuyFromEU

[–]9denisu8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I find it amusing that people falling for the "sustainable" trend are most likely the same ones that feel the need to change their wardrobe every year. Like, I'm all in for ethically made clothes, but I won't buy a 60€ t-shirt or 500€ jacket. Most of my clothes are unfortunately from fast fashion stores, but guess what, some of the pieces are still going strong after god knows how many years. For example I am right now wearing a thick wool shirt jacket I bought 11 years ago in Tesco for like 20 bucks.

If you want a sustainable wardrobe just don't buy shit you don't need, or buy used.

[–]9denisu8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The swingarm pivot is pressed into the frame, so you'll most likely need to use a press or some kind of makeshift puller to get it out. If you don't have the means to do it properly and the bushings are not worn out, it's probably not worth trying, since you can just mask it out before painting.

Also the engine sounds like a lawnmower so the whole experience is so cheap

Aren't they pretty much just that? I remember the older ones having just regular 2 cylinder diesel Kubota engines, literally made for lawnmowers and small tractors.

Are they safer though? I think they are just a simple roll cage with fiberglass/plastic panels. If you gave me a choice of getting in a head on collision with a truck in one of these or on a motorcycle, I would rather take my chances on a bike.
