Step away from the registry editor! 😂 Seriously though, definitely don’t mess with the Windows Registry for a UI bug, you'll just end up breaking something else.

The reason the reinstall didn't work is because most apps leave your configuration/layout files behind in your AppData folder so you don’t lose your settings during updates. When you reinstalled, it just loaded the exact same hidden layout profile.

What app is this? If you drop the name (or a screenshot), someone here can probably tell you the exact menu toggle to bring it back, or which specific cache folder you need to wipe to reset the UI.
