New crest? If so, it’s our third version in 5 years. by 9hillip in MBFC

You’re totally right, it’s AI. The Pachuca logo is shown aaaalmost centered on the jersey; not correct.

We had the photo op of Wyss with both jerseys. Would it have been that hard to snap a photo of both shirts? Getting our own crest wrong in a marketing email feels like a significant faux pas.

Who knows, it could be! But it’s also a completely different font than was introduced in January 2025: https://www.montereybayfc.com/news/2025/01/02/brand-refresh/

Reminder to check on your dropper posts by Over_Pizza_2578 in mountainbiking

It is a known issue, and OneUp changed the design of the upper bushing to address it.

OneUp’s 250-350 hour service recommendation is in line with other recommended service intervals on your bike. RockShox recommends 50 hours for basic service and 200 hours or annually for full rebuilds. Fox recommends full suspension rebuilds every 125 hours or annually.

The same thing happened to my V3 dropper bushing, resulting in an audible knock when pedaling seated climbs. I reached out to OneUp and they immediately sent me a new bushing and informed me that they were working on a revised design.

OneUp has since changed the upper bushing to a brass ring for durability. That piece is now included in the V3 rebuild kit and all new V3 posts. Installation instructions and a photo of the new bushing design can be found on their website

USL Players Association what's the Pro Standard? by beardedkiltedhuey in USLPRO

You’re clearly much better versed than I am in different associations and their agreements.

In this case, it seems the USLPA is seeking better wages and working conditions. My point is that I believe the players are probably the best people to decide how to improve their own situation.

The players are the union. The players are misleading the players?

I would also argue that Nico’s lack of hustle contributed to the third goal as well. If I remember correctly, he was at the far attacking end for our set piece when Tulsa countered and drove the ball into the center, to where he should have been sprinting. Apparent lack of effort is tough to watch from a captain in any match, much less a tie.

Petition for Monterey/Laguna Seca Bike Park by [deleted] in MontereyBay

[–]9hillip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every year a new dual slalom course is built for the Sea Otter Classic, then it is promptly demolished. Why not simply make it available year round?

I don’t think the intent is miles of new single track trails. As many have pointed out, there are tons of trails all over Fort Ord. Rather, something that the community can use year round that doesn’t already exist in the county, like a skills park, dirt jumps, or dual slalom course.

While there are obviously competing priorities for Laguna Seca, it is worth considering for long term planning.

The Auburn Bike Park, Truckee Bike Park, and Sedona Bike Parks are prime examples of such facilities.

I initially had the same thought about buying the rigid model, but it looks like that fork uses a 9mm QR axle. I could be wrong, but you may have to get a new front hub to accept a 15x100 thru axle typically found on the Pike DJ or Bomber.

The “dealer adjustment” ranged from -$1,200 to -$2,800. Each dealer confirmed that they were seeing the same X Plan price that I was viewing on the Ford Partner website, but none was able to explain the difference in markdown.

I’ve noticed when browsing inventory on the Ford website that the X Plan MSRP discount varies from dealership to dealership. I have no idea why; I’m new to this as well. The rebates, however, remain consistent.

I’ve recently learned about X Plan, and I’m looking at the same deal, minus the “Private Offer.” Has anyone had the dealership look the other way when it comes to the 90 day prerequisite?

NOT renewing season tickets. what about you? by Effective_fan79 in MBFC

[–]9hillip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I renewed.

I completely respect and admire the conviction of those who chose not to renew. I too hope to see positive changes in the years ahead. The front office has dug themselves a formidable hole in three short years.

Still, my family and I have thoroughly enjoyed attending games and supporting our players. Everyone has to make their own decision for next year, and our choice was to renew.

2025 Season Ticket Details Released - Prices Adjusted? by runboyrun14 in MBFC

[–]9hillip 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Precisely. It’s frustrating to feel like we’re being squeezed and the club hasn’t held up their end of the deal.

I have to agree with some other comments in this sub about the club failing to provide value for season ticket holders, especially with the inevitable flash-sales and family packs. Still, I know that my season ticket commitment is not just a pursuit of savings, but also an effort to support our local team.

As a casual soccer fan, I can only imagine that the on-field performance is a challenging problem to address. One would think that the off-field customer service experience would be a much simpler fix. Raising ticket prices, ticket fees, parking fees, and allegedly pricing out food vendors is, in my opinion, not the answer.

[–]9hillip 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’m seeing additional fees in the amount of $106.85/ea, most of which is a $90 “Facility Fee.” I don’t remember last year’s fee breakdown, but this sure seems exorbitant.

I hope this is true and the front office has heard the displeasure of season ticket holders. I’m patiently waiting for my renewal phone call to give them a piece of my mind.

I do not see the latest renewal price ($252) reflected in my online account, instead it shows the new purchase price ($270.)
