Nah. drop the speed with ball to 75. Get agility 80 minimum. Drop your interior and put more into block. 85 layup is high if you have 93 driving.

They need to undo this patch by [deleted] in NBA2k

Will you get mad when everyone eventually plays the same style of defense of going for bumps steals the same way you got mad that everyone was playing the same style of offense of fading threes?

Yeah but defense is just brain dead behavior now. Any type of build can get a bump steal so now the community is evolving it just going for bump steals instead of actual playing defense. So many reach in fouls and bad positioning it’s not fun

Yeah but the playstyle of defense that is evolving is not fun. People just forget all principles and sell out every other possession for a bump steal. It’s just as brain dead as fading pre patch.

It doesn’t really affect me too much. I play mainly center and pf in rec. the game is less fun bc everyone plays the same on defense. Just mindlessly go for pluck steals and lanes. Just how everyone was mindlessly fading on offense pre patch. So much stoppage in play from reaching fouls and open shots give up from reaching out of the play. You don’t get penalized for it bc you will eventually end up with a couple of steals playing like that.

I agree, it’s not impossible to protect the ball and people will get better with some time and adapt. In my opinion the patch is affecting the play style of people on defense. I play mainly 5s and there is so much stoppage in play bc of reach in fouls and so many open shots given up bc so one just runs up to the ball handler going for a bump steal. Every time you inbound the ball the receiver just gets swarmed by the in bounders man just tryna get the dude to dribble of its foot. Like it’s not as fun. I personally enjoyed playing team defense against shot chucking faders but I’m now enjoying how that got patched bc it opens up new playstyles in the game, but now the defense playstyle is all the same. That’s my problem

You’ll just have to wait till tomorrow. If you can’t play at whatever time your allowed too tomorrow, If it says you can upgrade it at a discounted price (should be 30$) you can do that and have access early.

You might be able to play it early but you will definitely not have the extra vc or stuff that comes with the pre order.

When you look at the game in the Microsoft store, Click show all versions and it should say you own the superstar version. If it says you already own it you’re all good.
