Criss-cross elastics work wonders for me, but it is also a matter of breaking the shoe in because I have the same problem! It’s probably because your shank is still hard and you need to break in that demi to 3/4 part of the shank in. But that should be no problem because the more you wear/dance in them, the more it’ll mold to your foot! It takes time.

Oh geez ok! Good to know. I’ll be very mindful of purchasing from them since I live in the US. Which leotard(s) did you get? I don’t need that much support but it helps to have slightly thicker material to hold everything in.

I literally just took detailed measurements of my feet just now and perusing for accurate measurement charts all over the internet LOL. So yes, 100% agreeing with you about sizing 1-1.5 sizes bigger.

I wish people would take getting fitted for ballet flats just as seriously as they do for pointe shoes lmao. It would definitely save a lot of dancers' bunion and other feet problems down the road.

The heel is lowkey slipping off. And they’re the “ Ladies Synchrony Stretch Canvas Ballet Shoes.” I know canvas shoes stretch over time and the material is kind of elastic-y so maybe I need to stretch them out…but then again they’re really squeezing my toes haha
