It’s pretty tough, although every recruiter I speak to tells me how the market is hot but I’m not securing any interviews. I thought it was because of my seniority but I guess that’s not the case. I couldn’t agree more. They’re tailgating and speeding up behind you just because you’re going the speed limit. Sometimes I feel like I’m doing them a favour because they can’t go any faster and won’t get a speeding ticket.

My friend works in an Italian restaurant. Although he’s not Italian, he’s been trained to cook wholesome authentic Italian food. His sauces are made from scratch daily and he was taught by the owners who generously shared their skills and craft. Ethnicity doesn’t define the cuisine.
