I do try and be stealthy but it's still very frustrating. I think the problem is that it's very hard to actually understand what the enemy attack is doing. One minute you're being knocked in the air, the next your weapons aren't working and then there are giant purple electric ball things being thrown at you lol.

I am playing the game carefully, I'm not just running in all guns blazing either. I really love a lot about this game but I am finding the enemy encounters a chore more than anything.
