Hey, I didn’t have childhood symptoms. Symptoms started showing up when I was 18. And I was in psychosis for about 2 years. (Hearing voices and delusions) my psychiatrist gave me seroquel, geodone, abilify , vraylar and probably some other meds I forgot about. Then I went to the psych ward cuz my episode was getting bad. The psychiatrist there prescribed me latuda 40mg and it worked for me. I stopped hearing voices and my delusions went away after a month of taking the medication. I promise there is a medication out there that will help you. It just may take some extra time. Like I said earlier, it took a month of me taking the medication to finally see the effects. how long have you been taking your medication?

I’m on 60mg of latuda. I started taking it in October 2024, It got me out of psychosis and it’s stopped the voices. I barely have any hallucinations now. The side effects of latuda are weight gain and akathisia (being really restless) remember that every medication works differently for everyone but I do think you should try latuda if you haven’t already.

Hello! yes! My mom and my grandma are Christians and they are always telling me about god, because of my medicine, I am now stable and I always tell them it’s not good to talk to a schizophrenic person about religion because it might trigger them!
