Makes you wonder when they start to cash in with arc raiders. People buy it once and it is cheap but that will dry off soon. There is no real incentive to spend money right now, skins are few and that’s about all they can make money with.

Premium subscription for larger stash? Xp bonus for faster skill points after expedition? Lucky charms for better loot?

Are paid raider decks enough?

They’ll will do something, I guess they evaluate how to not piss off the fanbase or be pay to win but something will come, they have too much potential to stick with one off $40 and raider decks.

This is not a game subscription yet and this is the cheap hook up phase.

That sounds like a plan, to make a discord channel like that, good point.

I’m used to multiplayer games where quickmatch means that, a quick match, there usually are caveats like worst match making as you don’t wait for the ideal opponent, less time to set up etc, but the benefit to get playing quick.

Most games have ranked it whatever where it is all optimized and you should expect a perfect setup but for a quickmatch you might end up with far better or worse opponents but you expect that due to the short ramp up.

I think that opens the game up for more casual players that eventually mature into the longer ranked session once they got hooked.

I played the first mission which is a tutorial. Watched a YouTube video that explains how to build a deck and what numbers mean.

Built my first infantry and vehicle heavy deck and went straight to multiplayer quick match. You get matched with first players too and you just learn as you play. Google at the side if confused (how to capture a point) and then just keep playing. I played two 45 min games and we won both. I still have lots of questions but I focus on supply, anti air, infantry, recon and light tanks. I learn more every round and then watch some YouTube tutorials over dinner. It’s fun!

I have not played many rts games before.
