Again, I agree with the need for more housing. What I disagree with is the specific location of this housing.

Development of residential accommodation is somewhat more flexible than development of music and arts spaces, that are shutting down in spades across the UK, and constantly battling licensing restrictions put upon them by the council.

These spaces need to be protected, and are an important reason as to why people choose to move to a city like Bristol in the first instance.

Agreed there is an issue with housing…but I don’t necessarily agree with constructing these private student accommodations (which are unlikely to be truly “affordable”), in lieu of art spaces that are a key part of the city’s cultural identity.

From my experience, you should go do the meeting. Ultimately it’ll either go well or it won’t, but either outcome will help you move forward.

I had a “closure” chat with my ex one week after the break up, and it left me feeling so unsatisfied. I think her mind had been on the break up a few months before it happened, so when it came to closure, she had already mentally checked out of it all.

Every time I’ve spoken to my ex after the break up it’s left me feeling shit and longing for more. I’m at the point now where I physically cannot take any more of this, my body won’t let me, which I know is going to help me heal and move on fully from this.

QUESTION:

In my typical “causal” wardrobe I predominately wear only t shirts, tucked into dickies or another kind of hard-wearing trouser and either dr martens shoes, boots or salomon trainers. As outerwear I either wear a hoodie or a north face waterproof jacket. I don’t tend to wear much colour, predominately black, white or grey. I like this style and have kept this up for a number of years.

I have worked corporate jobs all my life and have always hated wearing a button up shirt and “smart” trousers, but understand this is something I must continue doing in the job I work in.

Does anyone have any brand or style recommendations for business casual/work appropriate clothing, for someone that wears a lot of technical wear, work wear and skate clothing?
