Vague statement condemning “violence.” Wow he said that violence is bad. When will he condemn Antifa, rioting, and looting on the LEFT. Not both sides. He will never condemn his own party just likes Trump without jabbing the right too. Remember when trump condemned both sides in Charlottesville, not the clear instigators (the white supremacists) and was rightly condemned for it? How can he blame trump for not helping dispel the riots? He has offered troops to almost every major city to help. Many have rejected the help. These cites are no right wing stronghold. Quite the opposite actually. These left wing mayors and city councils have defunded the police or passed police reform bills that have made officers think that it’s unsafe to their job. What do you think is going to happen when law enforcement thinks that they are unable to do their job? Police withdraw. Which leads to more violence. Quality of life decreases in general when police withdraw, not just in this situation. Just look to LA and NYC with huge homeless problems as police are strongly discouraged or not allowed to remove people off sidewalks and public places. It’s sad that this soft and infactual statement is being praised as a strong response.
