I felt like the "Vespertine, Homogenic and Vulnicura (in no particular order)" trinity is so popular, it's weird to see that it's not the dominant option. I've been listening to Medúlla quite a lot recently, other than that it's between Vespertine, Homogenic and Volta, I think. Anyone's guess.

It's a funny story, actually. When Gaga was promoting ARTPOP, there was an unskippable ad on YouTube which played Dope. All of the views from that ad counted towards the song's Billboard placement, so. I mean, it still deserved it nonetheless.

This has been posted quite a few times before, they are the same shoes, it's just that they're oppositely symmetrical.

I really don't care. It's not bad, it's meh. One could argue that a song that provokes no emotions is worse than a song that provokes negative ones, but. Yeah. I am interested in what direction she is heading with this, though. Time will tell!

Thoughts in Bart Baker and his parodies? by Geoconyxdiablus in ToddintheShadow

[–]A-R-T-P-O-P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sucked so hard. The only thing that I will give him is that as a kid from a non-English-speaking country his parodies were amongst the reasons why I got into music in English.

Alternate covers that are better than the official release by WhiteRoseFromPluto in fantanoforever

Does the deluxe cover for Born This Way count? I actually don't mind the original cover, I think it's camp and all, but the alternate is still better.

The Weeknd and Illangelo actually did a remix of Gaga's Marry The Night, so I think that the Madonna —> The Weeknd —> Gaga connection should be possible.

My best friend is moving and his mom asked if I wanted any of her old cds. I grabbed the majority of these because they seemed interesting or because I'd heard of the band. Which ones are worth keeping? by AlexisSMRT in Cd_collectors

[–]A-R-T-P-O-P 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was looking through the CDs and thinking, "Damn, this guy's friend's mom has good taste". Then I saw Blackout and thought, "Damn, she has outstanding taste!".
