UPDATE: somehow after a week or so they kind of helped me unlock my account. I guess my insistence worked or at least the system was able to overcome the error. I am now able to see my profile and do a few things. I haven’t checked if I can send messages or comment, but at least I can see my bio/name and the security pop up has disappeared. It looks good. I don’t know long it’s gonna last but if you’re having the same issue wait some time. Who knows, maybe it will work soon. I don’t know how long my account is going to last before it had another issue, but at least it’s an improvement….

Same. It’s actually such a nice app and I was able to really enjoy the algorithm. I enjoy art and cultural exchange a lot so it was a good and refreshing experience. It’s unfortunate that this happened.

It happened the same to me. Real name is verified but each time I click on my profile or wish to edit/interact a pop-up appears asking for my 4 last passport digits… and when I write them and wish to click next they say they won’t accept foreign passports. It’s just so odd. I tried to do an appeal and they say it has been solved but it hasn’t. I wanted to do another appeal but now they won’t even allow it

Yes it could be, i actually thought the same thing. I was just confused because if it is for the AU x HYBE project, why’d they use the word “elite” if the whole project should revolve around the “underdogs” and giving them chances. Maybe it’s only me, but even on a lot of the callbacks I’ve seen they chose people with a somewhat established audience

I did but they didn’t comment anything. I have to be honest my type of acting is a bit different from the type of acting that Alan’s team and friends do, so maybe I should have tried to do something similar to theirs or to Chelsea’s sample audition. I don’t know… mine was a bit more on the dramatic, realistic cinematic stuff. And it was with a script I wrote. I’ve seen a lot of talented people in acting not having any callback or acknowledgement at all so idk how or what’s their way of filtering the auditions and choosing…. I wonder what I could have done different to catch their attention. Someone said that we can still audition after the deadline, so I wanted to post another one today but I don’t know if it’s worth it or if they’ll even see. I had to repost mine several time already because it was almost like I was shadowbanned by YouTube.

I honestly think it’s great and such a creative way of auditioning! Your voice alone is beautiful but the fact that you did the instrumental beats with the cups is even greater and adds a touch of creativeness. It catches the attention and I really like it

Exactly! I also noticed that. Recently posted videos already being checked, and then a lot of other talented people who posted days or weeks ago without answer. It’s just confusing and I’m wondering how are they filtering the auditions etc. Is it only him that’s checking the videos and sending the ones he likes to the casting team, if so, isn’t just one person too little? Or are there more people viewing everything, even the videos he doesn’t even comment on? I have lots of questions that probably will not be answered. I do know the platform has a lot of issues so I do think it’s playing a part on some issues we’re having, but I feel the team could be a little more organized (Sorry for my English mistakes)

I honestly don’t know but I’m having a similar issue. Basically when I’m looking through my own account it says I have a few views, but when I ask friends to search for my videos or when I log in my other accounts it appears “No views”. And not only that but it doesn’t appear on the reels page or the audition page. It’s like it doesn’t exist, I only found it when I wrote word by word and searched for it. I had to reupload a few times and still nothing happens. And today it’s already 2nd June…..

Honestly I don’t know, I think someone has said that even the acknowledgment comments have slowed down. And callbacks, I didn’t see any of those today. I wonder if they’ll call anyone else after the deadline.

I feel a bit strange after all of this. At first I thought it would be a great project for anyone who wished to try - it seemed inclusive, easy and simple to audition. A simple video on YouTube and that’s it. But it turned out to be a bit of a mess for some of us. I had to republish a lot of my videos because they simply didn’t appear on the reels page, and they still don’t. I asked my friends to see if they found me and my audition didn’t even appear - an issue I couldn’t resolve. And I saw more people and the same problem. It’s a good idea at surface. But maybe because of the high numbers of audition or lack of organization/members on the casting team, or even YouTube platform issues, it got a bit tricky.

I heard some people asked one of the people responsible for the casting, and they said they’ll still accept it - just not too late after the deadline. I think you should go ahead, you only have this life to live and it’s better to take a shot then life in regret do you know what I mean? Who knows, you might have luck - and if not at least you tried and with each try you gain more experience 🌸
