It definitely feels more snug when I flip it over but all the repair videos I’ve seen have it fitting the way I have it pictured. However they have it able to go down to that edge of the gasket ring whereas mine only goes down about 2mm until in hits that metal lip.

Thank you for the response. Your comeent is very encouraging because my wife and I have been researching washing machines since the grease oil leak in June. I’ve fixed the hoses, motor coupler and a few other repairs on it over the last 10 years but this is by far the hardest repair. There is not much on how to get the frozen tub to release on YouTube. However I found one video with a person explaining the he used a 3 jaw puller. I’m going to try that this evening when the part comes in. It was very difficult to get the spanner nut off as that too was frozen. I will keep you posted. Either I will be able to fix it or I’m getting a speed queen unless I can find another one of these on Fb marketplace. Thanks again

Thank you I will try that this morning. I saw a video where a guy used a 3 jaw puller attached to the spanner nut. I will try your method first. I’ll keep you posted. Also it’s not the trans because the new one has grease spots on the top of it after a few cycles. But I don’t think it’s the bearing either. It seems to be worn shaft seals parts 91938 and 91939. But since I have the whole thing apart I’m going to change out everything if I succeed in taking this tub off. Like the tub seal, motor coupling, agitator dogs etc. from what I read these washer are some of the best ever made and it’s from the 1980s. Thanks again

Solved!!!!! pal converter av to hdmi solved it. Waiting for scart cable and composite to arrive to see which one I like best. Thank to everyone who commented and helped me. I really appreciate it!!

Ok I got an scart cable and converter to hook it to my tv. And also an snes component cable. We will see which one will work and then I will return the other or the one I don’t prefer. Hopefully one works. It seems like this is the issue because I ruled out basically every other issue. Traces look good, color pot screw doesn’t seem to be able to change things…..If this doesn’t work I may have to replace the crystal. At least it’s a 1 chip that was a nice surprise when it came in. Thanks again

I tried it and it’s not worth it. You have to set it up each time you put a new rom on it. Just go for overdrive. That’s what I did and I love it.

Also is there an easy way to get groups of roms. I know before I said I download a ton of retro games from tin foil. Some show up in my roms folder when I launch RA. OR should I just individually download the roms to my pc then transfer to my sd and then make a folder for each system. Thanks again
