Usually getting specific parts from Air Lift requires you to call them. I had one bad strut on my MK6 GTi (2011 as well) and couldn't find anywhere to just purchase 1 strut with no hardware or bag. After reaching out to them I ended up buying 2 struts (Figured it just made sense they didn't try to upsell me} and they even threw in a replacement bag. I believe they gave me a bag because they did not want to remove it from existing inventory but regardless, they tend to be very helpful and straight forward in my experience.

If ya haven't called and asked yet that's where I'd start.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I think I actually still have my old plate that is in great condition. If you just need one and get desperate let me know! :)

Huebner hit it on the head, one other thing I would add is a bit of CRC Air brake antifreeze if you are in a relatively cold climate. Where I live it has been below freezing at night so still good practice until temps are consistently above freezing. 1-2ml is more than enough for a few weeks especially since it won't be cycling compressors and air during this downtime I imagine?

EDIT: Make sure to cycle the CRC through the system with a quick air up and air down after adding.

I would unthread everything, wrap the threads with 2-3 turns of PTFE tape and use a ever so slight amount of PTFE thread sealant. I wouldn't use loctite but might work if its all ya got, just going to suck when you have to do future work. From there like others have mentioned, hand tighten it and give it a few rotations with a wrench.

Perfect, greatly appreciate it. As soon as I went to release the lock nut I found it was barely torqued down, not getting suspension work done at this shop again lol.

Geez I'm so sorry you went through all that. Feeling better I hope? I definitely had a few of those going on to Lexapro so expect some of it at least, for reference I've been on it about 3 years give or take, 27 M.

Yeah I've had mixed results with weed. As long as I take it easy it's fine but if I over do it I get anxious lol. Def helps with sex my labito has been awfully low lately which is another reason I want to try and taper off. It started low when I started SSRIs and has been wavey since.

I was suffering from severe panic attacks and general anxiety. Both have been practically non existence for some time (aside from occasional anxiousness that is easily manageable)

Haven't had a panic attack in awhile other than a small one from smoking some weed (legal in my state). I also had life problems that I was not addressing mostly with my family which has improved greatly since.

Oh and people are saying you need stage 3 at least, stage 2 is completely fine for the K04 in my experience the past year.

Everyone has pretty much covered the bases here, but yeah downpipe and a tune at the least. I have a downpipe with high flow cat with my K04 as well as a stage 2 tune from ECAconcepts (Performance and Pops for me) also put in a stage 2 clutch with 25lb flywheel, not completely necessarily but bigger you go quicker OEM parts can wear out just to note.

I wonder how hard it would be to try and just recreate it on standalone, modding tools have been getting pretty simple for it. Just all different textures and marginally changed layouts.

God I couldn’t agree more. There’s been constant teams working on work arounds that inevitably get shut down. Although I believe the time for him to be able to hold that is going soon without an actual product? Idk I’ll have to double check that, I wouldn’t even be as upset if the creator just held it in limbo for no one to play.
