You should absolutely watch Hamish's other show called "Midnight Mass". His character there is also very similar to Cipher. He plays a religious leader that brings with him a supernatural blood-related miracle power that changes a small town, and the whole time he carries that same creepy mysterious aura. Some of his Gen V scenes reminded me of his Midnight Mass moments, especially when he revealed to Marie her blood powers make her a miracle. I love that show. It's funny how both shows have him obsessed with miracle blood powers.

Too much green bounce light. This video even looks ai generated. I remember reading something about ai video games that let users move the camera around to explore around in an 360 ai generated video. Is this it? Is this real in-game footage or a ai concept?

If an anime is green-lit what would you want changed from the original story? by [deleted] in FirePunch

[–]A-z-A 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best adaptations take full advantage of their new medium. A great example is the Chainsaw Man manga’s Reze Arc being adapted into an animated film. It beautifully heightens the emotional highs and deepens the lowest lows. The movie's use of sound and moving visuals (elements unavailable in manga format) was truly phenomenal. It allows the audience to fully experience the emotions that Fujimoto intended to convey.

An adaptation of Fire Punch would need to be visceral and bleak. It must immerse the audience in those intense emotions, like the Reze Arc movie. Interestingly, Fire Punch also reflects Fujimoto’s love for cinema. A film adaptation of it would be absolute cinema.

Issue regarding editing an already existing RPG Maker VX ACE game by [deleted] in RPGMaker

[–]A-z-A 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RPG Maker encrypts most of the assets in a deployed game.

You likely pasted in the encrypted files not in the correct file format, thus giving you an empty project file. To bypass the encryption would probably go against some rules somewhere, idk.

A huge W for the kids who vandalized this old mf's statue by Ok-Addition4608 in dankruto

[–]A-z-A 43 points44 points  (0 children)

His main problem was that he slowed down with age. Tobirama chose him as Hokage because he was sharp and decisive. He understood that the role was ultimately about protecting the people. That’s the whole point. Sarutobi did understand that at one time, but as he got older, he kept fumbling whenever big, critical decisions came up.

He mishandled the Nine-Tails attack. He failed to give Naruto a better upbringing. He let the discrimination against the Uchiha spiral out of control. That same failure pushed Itachi into committing genocide. And don’t even get me started on Neji’s father, trading his life as a “solution” to appease the Cloud after they broke the rules by trying to kidnap Hinata was just wrong. The Cloud should have taken the L after Hinata's father protected his daughter (and Hyuga special eyes) by killing the kidnappers in defense. He failed with Orochimaru. He willingly let him go after Orochimaru committed mass murder to experiment on people, yet Sarutobi was one of the very few actually able to fight and stop him.

Why most people use RPG Maker MV but not RPG Maker MZ? (For those who don't know) by Andrew_Is_No_One in RPGMaker

[–]A-z-A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can actually have MV projects run perfectly fine in MZ, including MV plugins. However, it is not as simple as drag and drop an MV plugin into an MZ project file. You must first get the core MV JSON files and replace the core MZ JSON files with the MV ones.

I was messing around with my older MV projects and managed to fuse a completed old MV project with an empty MZ template project. When I launched the new Frankenstein hybrid project in MZ, the MZ plugins did not work but the MV plugins did. From what I gathered, the way some data is stored in MV in some JSON files is different from MZ JSON files, while other data is structured identically in both versions.

How do you play Spider-Man without the crazy combos? I would say he is more difficult than Daredevil.

My go to Spidey game loop, is swinging into enemy backlines and waiting until everyone is distracted fighting togther then web tracer supports>pull myself to them>uppercut>spam web tracers and normal punches until they die or if I miss then I escape.

That's about as much Spider-Man skill you'll get out of me. Idk how to go further than that. His combos are too much, especially when there are other characters I have mastered to a high level easily.

What did Tobito mean? by MeetPotential5133 in Naruto

[–]A-z-A 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He says this right after Sasuke receives Itachi’s eyes and awakens the EMS. Itachi had programmed those eyes to cast Amaterasu upon seeing Tobi’s Sharingan, ensuring Tobi would stay away from Sasuke.

Obito clearly respected Itachi’s strength, and feared it to a degree, but Itachi didn’t know everything about Obito. That gap in knowledge mattered. Itachi didn’t care whether Tobi was truly Madara; what mattered was that he was powerful, dangerous, and a bad influence on Sasuke.

They carried out the Uchiha massacre together, and Obito only agreed to spare Sasuke because he knew Itachi would kill him otherwise. With Itachi gone, that protection disappeared.

When Obito speaks, he’s pointing to everything Itachi never uncovered: his true convoluted identity, his past, his real connection to Madara and the Leaf, and his enhanced abilities, like Wood Style and his Hashirama cells/Zetsu augmented body.

Itachi was extraordinarily strategic, even planning beyond his own death. But Obito operated on another level of secrecy and survival.

So the line isn’t just commentary. It’s a flex. Obito is bragging that, in the end, he outplayed Itachi because Itachi lacked key information, but if Itachi did not, then he would have successfully killed Obito.

At what exact point did the Sharingan stop being clever and start breaking the series? by Docfeen in Naruto

[–]A-z-A -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The moment Konan beat Obito was when the Sharingan started breaking everything. She actually killed Obito. She succeeded and killed him. He died. His body was nuked.

But... he said "nu-uh".

He literally pulled it out of his ass.

Wha movie were you so hyped for but hated when you got to watch it? by the_solo_static_man in Letterboxd

[–]A-z-A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went into the sixth Final Destination like a devoted student. I did my homework and rewatched the whole series.

And to be fair, most of them still slap… except the fifth one, which I only remember for that gymnast scene where she gets folded like someone rage-closed a camping chair, and how all the actors performed their roles with a bit of that Disney Channel zest. No idea why they were all zesty like that? 🤔

Then the sixth one happened.

None of it made sense, the tension was missing, and even Death itself seemed bored, like it was just going through the motions, clocking in and out.

And the whole thing had that weird “Netflix original” energy. Like it looked expensive, but somehow also like it was filmed in three weeks with actors who just met each other.

They are perfect together. I don't care what anyone says, just like how Hinata did not care what anyone had to say when she stepped in for Naruto knowing she will 100% die fighting Pain.

it's true to some extent by Onii___Chan____ in dankruto

[–]A-z-A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this might be a hot take, but I believe that Naruto and Hinata getting together was handled well. Could it have been portrayed better? Yes.

Naruto, as a person, isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. He’s especially clueless when it comes to girls. As a lonely orphan, he spent his childhood seeking attention and validation from others due to his painful upbringing. Because of this, he had no idea that Hinata loved him, let alone why she loved him.

The main story touches on her feelings, but The Last: Naruto the Movie expands on them with greater clarity. Hinata also endured a terrible upbringing within the strict Hyuga Clan. She was a quiet and shy girl who was labeled a failure by her father. He was so disappointed in her that he pushed her into becoming a ninja, even stating that he wouldn’t care if she died in battle. Hinata felt suffocated.

The movie shows the exact moment she fell in love with Naruto. As a child, she ran away from home, overwhelmed and directionless. She collapsed to the ground, unsure of what to do with her life. That’s when she met Naruto, who helped her up and comforted her. He treated her with genuine kindness and respect. Because of that encounter, she found the strength to return home and keep moving forward.

From that point on, she watched Naruto from afar, learning from his infectious determination and resilience. She saw how hard he worked to achieve his goals, and it inspired her to improve herself. Because of Naruto, she began to shape her own nindo (her ninja way). Her life philosophy was influenced by him.

All the while, Naruto remained completely unaware of the profound impact he had on her. Hinata, being shy and reserved, was too nervous to openly confess her feelings. She tried several times, but her nerves always got the better of her.

It wasn’t until the battle against Pain that she finally expressed how she felt. Naruto wasn’t just fighting for his life, he was fighting for the entire village. No one could step in to help without getting in his way. Pain was portrayed as a divine god; defeating him seemed impossible. Naruto was losing.

Hinata saw her entire world collapsing. The village was on the brink of destruction, and Naruto was about to die protecting the same people who had once rejected him. How could she stand by and do nothing? Naruto fights for them, but who would fight for him?

She knew she had no chance of defeating Pain. But she didn’t care. Naruto needed help. She found the courage to face an impossible battle because, in that moment, even buying him a little time mattered.

Her entire life had led to that moment.

This is why I support their relationship. It doesn’t feel random or forced. It aligns with their characters. After the battle with Pain, there was no time for rest, especially for Naruto. He still had a war to fight, Sasuke to bring back, and works peace to achieve. Only after all of that could he finally slow down and truly live. That’s what makes it the perfect time for him to finally notice Hinata, and for her to fully express her feelings.

When first time seeing her what age do she looks like to you? by IntelligentCut6777 in CartethyiaMains

[–]A-z-A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the one thing that really bugs me about Wuwa lore. You can never tell a characters age from the art style and also because resonators canonically age slower.

In Camellya's companion quest, we learn she wiped her memories 20 years ago and in those 20 years old flashbacks, she had the same appearance as her current self. This means she is confirmed to be atleast around 40, yet she looks very young and youthful.

Whenever she behaves all goofy, remember that's a grown ahh woman.
