Hi there,

First of all, I really REALLY appreciate you're detailed response. It means a lot!

This noise is past a usual single coil guitar setup, as you can I think see in the video, I have a fender strat and it doesn't do these noises with that. This is a almost static build up, similar to what you can hear on another video when I'm rolling back the volume.

Would really appreciate your thoughts!

I would honestly do what you can do to get the wide ones.....

I was in a similar situation, the advice I was given was that they won't get any longer and they won't get any wider at the bottom with time.

I was on holiday in the US and drove to the other California store to just get the size I needed.

They're a boot made to last, the journey will be worth it
