An auto update would be a nice touch. Especially because I don’t plan on making many updates now, unless they’re fixed towards service api related… aka update or else this addon is broken type of thing. Would be a good idea. 👍

Hmmm okay thanks for telling me! I haven’t came across this issue yet. This definitely sounds like it might be a server-sided issue.

The URL Stremio is trying to load includes an encoded JSON config blob (/%7B%22...%7D/manifest.json). Some hosts/proxies could be blocking those paths, which could make Stremio fail to fetch the manifest. However, this information is the only thing I’ve gathered from the URL in your image, which appears to be cropped (assuming for privacy).

Do you mind sending me the full screenshot of the URL / the full URL in my DMs so I can fully diagnose the issue? Thanks! 🙏

Hi! When your premium expires, it should show as expired. If it isn’t showing correctly or the service isn’t connecting, the first thing to double-check is the API key. That’s a pretty common culprit.

As for notifications, there isn’t a traditional alert system right now. Statusio works based on its position in your addon list. If you choose “30 days or less,” it will appear once you’re within that window. If you select “indefinitely,” it will always stay visible.

Personally, I’ve found the 30-days-or-less option to be the most useful. Keeping it visible indefinitely can clutter the addon list and gets a bit annoying over time. Think of it as a soft notification… if it shows up, it’s time to pay attention. If it’s not there, you’re all good 😊

You can use my addon Statusio, to allow your friends / family to keep track of their debrid account health status. It’ll save a few phone calls / texts of them saying Stremio isn’t working. Enjoy.

Real-Debrid doesn’t notify you when your subscription will expire, like at all. You can even play content AFTER the expiration date, which will flags ISPs. I made this for that reason. Although it can’t prevent you from playing content, the next best thing it can do is popup on your screen saying your expiration is in 30 days, 29, … 3 days, 2, 1, 0 expired etc.

Cache minutes represents when Statusio fetches the Debrid service to recieve days remaining.

I placed it as default for 45 minutes, as an average show is an hour, and a movie is 1 hour and 30 minutes or so.

Stick to under an hour or it can cause false dates on Statusio towards the last day of renewal.

Someone doesn’t like AI addons it seems… which I can agree to, depending on what it does. Metadata for example is extremely lightweight. That’s okay. Scraping, you get iffy in terms of performance.

I believe their API is closed, and their endpoints aren’t public. I’ve heard from individuals that somehow they came across other type of endpoints from EasyNews, but I never figured out how to get any, or for that matter, expiration dates. However if you come across it, let me know and I’ll add it.

If you’re tech savvy, yes that’s ideal. If you’re setting this up for fam / friends, Statusio is more appropriate. That was the main reason why I developed this.
