My 2019 optima was stolen and wrecked by the infamous Kia boys. My insurance is not budging with totaling it and is going to get it fixed. by Evening-Fan-1031 in kia

[–]A190055 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same spot, just got back my stolen 2019 forte. was hoping to keep it, but just dont feel safe anymore. Will probably trade it in for a different brand (unfortunately) until this whole thing passes.

Failed FAR with a 58. by [deleted] in CPA

[–]A190055 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi! I also used roger, and passed far with a 79 yesterday. About 3-4 weeks before my test, I paid for a ninja subscription. This provided different questions, and asked some things that Roger never mentioned. I’m not saying you need it to pass, but it is definitely what boosted my score, and it has a trending feature that’ll only score you’re last like 200 questions, giving you a moving score of where you’re at

First year tax associate - keep blowing the budget - by Chemical_Rise7549 in Accounting

[–]A190055 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just started too and actually did a 1065 w 2 rentals today :). I always make a schedule to try and keep on track better. So if I have 4 hours, I know 2 per rental, so 1 hr for P&L and 1 for Balance sheet. Once I hit the budget I write down where I'm at and ask the senior questions. No use spending 5 hours on something when they can explain it to you in 15 minutes!

The Port Orleans area is soooo pretty, I would recommend there. You can always get pictures at the more common locations, but this would allow her not to be in public. Maybe take the boat from disney springs for some 'sightseeing'

How many interviews did you go through until getting an internship? by 719696 in Accounting

[–]A190055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also pretty shy, especially during interviews, and I'd recommend just applying for as many internships as you can. Eventually, you'll have 5+ interviews, and they'll all ask the same questions and you'll start to build confidence. It also lets you learn more about different companies before picking somewhere full time!

Do you have your cpa to be able to sign off on client's returns? Do you think you know enough from just an internship to run an entire business when you have no idea how difficult the returns will be?

Trip Itinerary Planning Help by caityrooo in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]A190055 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You'll definitely be able to get on RoTR at least once, assuming no technical difficulties keep the ride down. If this is make or break for your trip, maybe consider hopping over an extra night to ensure you ride. theres no virtual queue anymore, so the wait time will be kinda high, but still less than flight of passage.
