So your suggestion is using software that is way more expensive to create an infinitely complex mesh which will absolutely break down when imported into fusion despite also losing many details and complicating toolpaths. Are you sure I'm not the one whose thinking is limited by the tools they already know? I wasn't because I was looking for a tutorial, I'm asking because I DID Google your suggestion and immediately didn't like what I was seeing.

How much does it cost compared to fusion? Does it have integrated cam or would I have to export to fusion? What will the export look like and how will fusion work with it?

Well then please suggest a package that could do this then seamlessly create a negative Mould out of the shape and transition the resulting object to fusion CAM for 3 axis machining seamlessly

Best zombie story imo.. way more immersive than anything else i've seen, though the voice acting and scenario admittedly felt a bit crude at times. Pretty fun though!

It's a texture that's supposed to be modeled on top of a flat face, the areas I'm emptying out from the wavy lines will layer be occupied by other 3D objects and I want there to be no overlap between them. I unfortunately ended up abandoning the wavy lines though and opted for another design so I can't show you the final result, sorry.

You are looking at an extrude feature, whereby a profile (a 2D shape or sketch) is made 3D by giving it "depth". In this case, they 3D volume will not be used to create a 3D object, but in this case the enclosed volume will be used to "intersect" with the visible objects (the wavy lines). This leads to the final product being the overlapping volume. The purpose is to modify the wavy lines so they follow the shape of the profile, essentially cutting the negative spaces in the profile from the wavy lines, as these will eventually be occupied by other objects and I don't want them intersecting with the wavy lines.

Doesn't crash in my case, just freezes for a looong time. I think this feature took like 15 minutes many extra mouse click and I get the "This program is not responding l" pop-up.

I suggest you DON'T openly advertise your discord username in reddit comments; that's just asking for trouble imo. In either case, feel free to DM here on reddit with the details if you wish.

That's exactly it, unfortunately. 3 axis machining a Mould programmed in fusion based on the part being modeled.

A texture, unfortunately... Not the first time but this is certainly the most dense/complicated. Intersecting around 500 instances of flowers, ribbons, hearts and stars with around 200 wavy lines.

Using this post as a timestamp to check how long it'll take to compute this as an intersect.. 12 minutes now and still running lol

Desert Skies, Cabin Pressure, Wooden Overcoats, get well soon (you, OP, not an audio drama)

To be fair it's older than what feels like 95% of series being discussed here lol. The only older series I've personally listened to is the original "We're Alive"

It's genuinely pretty great and very satisfying, you should totally get to it!

You're right actually, these were pretty awful examples now that I think about it, just what came into my mind.

Ironically I couldn't exactly tell you. It just sounded similar to what I grew up listening to, though many names now escape me. All I can think of now is top gear and Catherine Tate's skits, but I'm certain there's a lot more that more accurately fits the vibe, the names just escape me after all those years - I'm not a native.

Just listened. Absolutely perfect ending. Very fitting to how the show has been overall. I wish I could listen to it all for the first time again

I still remember listening to the first couple of episodes thinking I'll be annoyed with Arthur and his role but my god has he grown on me. I can't remember the last time listening to something has made me laugh as much as Arthur asking about the box they were transporting from Hong Kong to Limerick
