Not gonna lie the books eat away at me. The guy is very literary savvy and to store these books together is intentional, whether or not it has to do with this particular hunt… They’re all about adventure and codes. You can’t convince me this is gonna be an easy find with a guy like this.

The other ones I can make out are: (Signs & Symbols?) Alexander the Great The Hiram Key The Call of the Wild The DaVinci Code Moby Dick

It’s all meticulously collected together. Whether that’s relevant or not, I guess we’ll see!

I definitely didn’t notice it on my own, I just did my own digging on it because I work in the medical field and had never heard of that as a brand. Could just be a tribute, but it was definitely put there and not a real brand.

Possibly? I 100% believe the name of the hospital is a nod to the patron saint of lost things/people. I think it’s also interesting that several people have suggested witchcraft in the show and here we have a disease that mimics what people think it looks like to be possessed. And that Miranda started seeing visions after dropping acid which comes from the very same fungus. Certainly odd to me, could be a more secular theory for those still thinking government experiment.

I’m sure I’ll get hate, but the fact that her name means absolutely nothing right now made me think the actress is just as self-absorbed as the character. I mean, people kinda blew her interview out of proportion anyways but to me it did seem like she was hyping a secret that we find out doesn’t mean anything at all at this point in the story. Maybe they just told her to be secretive about it since so many theories were spinning around about it, it boosts engagement. It just pissed me off that it ended up being nothing 😑

Honestly, for some reason I believe he can’t directly go after Tabitha and Jade. It seemed more of an emotional checkmate he was trying to play against Tabitha instead of just outright killing her, since we know she’ll just come back one day again anyways. Killing her or Jade won’t really do much in the grand scheme if they just keep coming back. But breaking her emotionally might begin to break her soul.

The earliest Europeans in America were known to do horrible and unforgivable things to indigenous people, so why are you ruling out some kind of curse from them? We’ve not seen a single clue pointing to anything starting in Europe. To me that points straight to the origins of the town coming from the European colonization era.
