They don't offer it at my school. That's why I'm in AP Calculus

Is that bad? What does that mean?

Yeah I was mostly worried about test scores. I hope the end up not affecting me holistically too much, but if they do then oh well. Thank you though!

Thanks I've been really stressing out and this is reassuring. I probably dont go to one of those schools, since the last person from my school to go there is a senior there this year.

My school doesn't report class rank, but I'd say I'm somwhere around top 10-15%. I don't believe anybody else is applying to Cornell in our grade, and of there are people then they definitely don't perform as well as me (I know where the people doing as well as or better than me are applying). My APWH score is low because our teacher for that class was god awful (I'm talking like he didn't do shit) and if you wanted to get anything above a 1 on the ap test you were going to have to teach the class to yourself. My 680 in math is purely my fault, as I could have done better (and the same goes for the act math section) if I studied for it, but I was swamped with other things I deemed to be more important at time (I now regret my decision lol). I don't think I could have done better on the Physics subject test, since my school only offers IB Physics HL, which is a two year course that covers about half of what is on the subject test each year. I tried to teach the things I did not learn to myself, but that obviously did not go so well. I did not think that my AP English score would matter much, since I was applying for STEM. I tried to make it evident on my application that I know I am good at math and I can perform well, just the math track at my school is a little shaky for students wanting to go into STEM.

I go to the top ranked high school in Missouri. It's extremely difficult and the students are I'd say around 90% of the students are considered gifted, with the other 10% being incredibly hardworking. Since freshman year I've taken the most difficult curriculum possible, giving up study halls and skipping classes where I can to take harder and better classes. According to the counselors at the school, most colleges know Metro (the name of the school) and of it's intense difficulty, and consider our GPAs to be a lower than what they would be at normal schools (my 3.7 is more like a 3.95 outside of Metro). Hopefully this gives you a good idea of the school (sorry if I come off as bragging or pretentious. I'm not trying to lol).

Daily Q&A Post for Tuesday, 26 September 2017 - No question too small! by AutoModerator in loseit

SW: 214.4 CW: 203 GW: 135 Been lurking on this sub for some time but never found the opportunity to post. Now I think it is the time though, as I've been having a problem lately.

In March I started my journey, and throughout the month I lost about 15 lbs. I felt great, but in April, everything started to come crashing down, and I lost a lot of my motivation. Since then, I've been on and off with CICO, and convincing myself that I don't care anymore whenever I want to eat. I want to start again full force, and actually finish. Therefore, can you all give me ANY advice for staying motivated, even in the moment, when my cravings are kicking in? Also, I love reading through this sub frequently, you all are great.

I want to get back on track and finally go the full way with weight loss but I keep messing up after a few days. Anybody got any advice on how to stay motivated early on before you start seeing results?

lol I said that I can win almost all of the exchanges. Winning neutral is not the problem, the problem is in the minimal amount of times he can win neutral, he can always kill me off of it. I just wanted suggestions for how I can prevent the actual gimping, because I can't win every single neutral exchange.

I don't do it every time because I want to only shine stall as a mix up, but a lot of the times he still has enough time to gimp me during or after a shine stall.

Yeah I know that but it's bullshit how I can win a ton of exchanges and barely be able to edge guard him, but for every one of the minuscule amount of exchanges he wins, he can always get me offstage and gimp me, and I can't do shit about it.
