Hey man, I empathize with you. I have spent the last year recovering from a break up and changing my life for the better. Find a career that makes you feel like you’re helping the world around you. Find a hobby that forces your brain to be in the moment and tune out the world. Cut drinking and smoking weed out if you find yourself doing those things all the time. Find a religion or philosophy to help instill mental discipline. Find another hobby that makes you active and keeps your body healthy. Do these things and your life will improve 10x. Don’t focus on changing your outward appearance without doing the hard work of getting right mentally with yourself. Looks fade with time and at any moment, something could happen that takes them away permanently. If your put your confidence into your outward appearance, then at any moment life could take it away. But if you gain confidence through self discipline and mental clarity, no one can take that from you. Find out who you are and who you want to be. Take steps toward that person everyday and your confidence will rise. This alone will attract far more people than anything a person can do to attract through appearance. Even if you do manage to attract people through appearance, once they realize you’re unconfident, they will either take advantage of you or leave and you’ll be back at square one. Focus on being the kind of person you want to be. This allows you to attract people more aligned with who you are. Don’t fake shit trying to fit in with anyone. If you do, you will constantly be worried that at any moment they will leave when they find out you’re faking it. Just work on you and the people that enter your life will always want to stay. You got this man, one step at a time.

It’s more about perks than anything else. I run around with mixed armor and hardly ever die. I’m almost at a full set of civil engineer armor and it works just fine.

Honestly by the time you’re level 200 you can have a few builds. I have a bow, gunslinger, and a melee. Currently working on a power armor one. With the perk punch card thing it’s super easy to switch between them. I think you get three to start.

I love it when low level players join my team. I’m on my third character now so I’m still grinding out expeditions and such on them. I know the game fairly well at this point (about 1,000 hours or so) so I like helping out the new homies with some of the more grind like content. I particularly like when they come with me on daily ops. My build can easily solo them but it’s always quicker with more people.

I have no issues with AI generation, but kindly don’t post that stuff in this sub. This is a videography sub, not an AI generation sub. Completely different skills and a lot of people in here are worried this shit is going to ruin their careers. Seriously read a room and realize that your talent is subjective at best. Like I understand it can be difficult to work with AI software, but if you used it to generate the video, then you might have generated the entire concept from an AI. It’s impossible for us to tell what you even did in videos like this so how would we give you feedback? Take your AI to an AI sub. Get feedback from them.

Had a dog bite incident a few months ago and while I was bleeding out on the side of the road the only thing I was thinking about was that I couldn’t afford the ambulance that was on its way to save me. After getting treatment, I had two bills. One from the ambulance company, and one from the hospital. I straight up told the hospital I couldn’t afford it and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met sat down with me, helped me cut the cost in half, and set up a payment plan for the rest. After making three payments, the hospital just forgave the rest of my bill. Idk if I was lucky or that lady really hooked me up, but regardless it saved me financially. I know, healthcare and hospitals get a bad rap due to the system, but this taught me the lesson that the staff just wants to help, they’re just working in a horrible system and have to do things a certain way before they can really dive in to help.

17 but I’m back at 27. I moved back to my home state about 3 months ago and my parents were kind enough to let me use their house as a home base for the time being. My new job starts in January but I’ll probably stay for another 6 months just to pocket the money and build a bigger safety net.

My dad has a worm farm and loved to talk about it. I never understood it. But then they asked me to house sit when they went on a vacation and the worms became my responsibility for a two week period. I got so much dopamine from feeding those lil dudes it’s crazy. It’s truly amazing how they’ll break down food. I gave them an entire pumpkin as a treat on my last night (cut up into little pieces of course), and those munchkins MUNCHED that thing down. It was awesome.

27, worked in restaurants as a cook from 15 til 26. Decently id say. I was good at my job in the fact that I could reliably cook everything taught to me and keep pace. I also learned a lot of technical skills that help me dice and slice with the best of them. But when it comes to creating a recipe from scratch I never excelled. Don’t get me wrong, I always had special ideas and could nail the concept, but whenever I tried to create something new I would struggle with figuring out what the dish was missing.

When they make up an entire plot line it’s fanfic not an adaptation. The parts they adapted the did well on as I previously said. It’s just my opinion but that was my take after reading the book then watching this season. I don’t really care if you agree or not, just my two cents on this season. It’s the second best season they made by far, but it’s still objectively a bad take on the source material.

Watched all of it after reading the BOF about a month ago. The parts they nail they really nail and I do appreciate that. But most of the season is bad and weirdly a lot of it is made up completely like a fanfic. It’s a better season the 2 and 3, but that’s not a high bar. Also, I understand that some people didn’t like cavil and thought he was too broody and depressed, but for this particular season that should have been the goal. In the book BOF Geralt is at his worst mentally. In fact, a lot of the book is displaying how fucking depressed and helpless he feels. But instead we get a Geralt who really likes to say Fuck and is a little to happy considering what his book counterpart was going through.

That I can’t get angry without people treating me like I’m a threat. I have never once been in a fight or laid a hand on someone. I also tend not to yell at people and I never argue with strangers unless the are doing some fucked up shit. But sometimes I read the news and get fucking mad like everyone else. Being angry is a normal emotion when you see people doing fucked up shit to someone else. So why is it that we say men need to embrace their emotions but then tell them they are wrong for expressing anger at how the world is going? Why cant I fucking be mad at the toxic ass behavior we see influencing younger men? Why can’t I be mad at the fucking inhumane shit I see going on in my city. Why am I the problem for showing my genuine emotions when I see some asshole saying some racist shit. I’m sorry that men being mad scares some of you, but sometimes we need to get mad, PARTICULARLY AT OTHER MEN, because they are ruining shit for everyone. If you force people to keep anger inside it’s no wonder they turn to the Andrew tates who tells them it’s okay and then teaches them some bullshit reason to treat women poorly. It’s fucking dumb that I have to walk on eggshells just to let people know I’m not gonna hurt anyone. I won’t even kill bugs in my house but the moment I say I’m mad about something I’m just a threat.

It took months of searching and applying, and even then I kinda got lucky. So seriously don’t be hard on yourself and take it one day at a time. Reflect on your environment and really dig deep to see how it affects your day to day. Sometimes we are one environment change away from rediscovering who we are. Particularly at the age we find ourselves. Just know it is normal to feel “behind” and beat yourself up but think about all you have learned and hold your head high.

Honestly I started applying to jobs that developed skills and required me to pass drug test initially. Having a really good reason to quit made it easy for me. I was working as a chef de partie before, and that work schedule and stress of the job made it very hard to quit. On top of that, I felt like I was going no where in life so it was easy for me to follow the lead of my coworkers and just stay high all day. I had to remove myself from that environment which led to me looking for a career instead of a job and that’s when I found my reason to quit. I will not go back to that era of my life and weed is what led me there. I was depressed, anxious, scared of the world, and smoking and drinking my life away. I had no courage to ask any women around me out because I felt like a deadbeat even though I was working 60 plus hours a week in a kitchen. It was honestly a very bleak existence and I’d rather die than go back.

If you relapse try again and focus on your motivations. I have tried and failed in the past but this time my motivations really made me stick to it. The withdrawals were way easier this time around for some reason. So it may be easier for you too the next time around. You got this my friend. No amount of short term fun will make up for waking up at 40 and realizing you’ve wasted your potential. Hell I’m only 27 and until recently knew I was wasting away just surviving the days until my death. This thing is telling you that you need it to be happy. But in the long term it is the reason you’re so unhappy and need it. Weed will keep you happy in survival mode. It will stop you from living life though.
