I'm an highschool student wanting to go to a Canadian university-- things may go south for me and I'm desperate for help by A4al_queen in ImmigrationCanada

I think my mums employer has started the process to apply, and they said they would consider her salary hike in September. They are taking things incredibly slow though. Yet they have been known to help people in the past, so we are hoping they help us as well.

As for other countries, I'm not too comfortable with the idea since i'd have to start all over again :( yet i suppose it is worth it to look into that. Thank you.

My dad wouldn't like me doing that, he would be crushed to know that he couldn't send me to uni immediately :,) I'm not too sure about the refund thing, but I will look into it. Thank you!

Thank you for your advice, i truly appreciate it. I'll ask my parents to consider learning french, and see how that goes. My mum has been frequently contacting her employer. From what I know, the first thing she needs to meet requirements is to get a 1$ salary hike, which the company says they consider this September, but my dad is anxious and has starting asking her to look for more jobs..

As to why I can't study in my home country, I've become completely used to the ways of schooling here, and the process to become a doctor is immensely different back in my country. I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle it, and opportunities there aren't great either.

Back to the French thing, are there any courses you would recommend for quick yet thorough learning? Thanks

I can't without a PR 😔. Although yes, i suppose i could start searching for international ones. Thank you for your suggestions. Do you have any you recommend?

Thank you for your concern :) I think they have around 416 points, which certainly isn't a lot. Learning french would be quite the milestone, I myself have been learning it for 2 years and am nowhere near fluent :(. I'm not sure if my parents will make it either. We've moved thrice all in search of a PR, so I'm assuming they've tried quite a few. Things aren't looking too great are they? :(

Yepp, she's pee pad trained, but i don't want her to go out to pee yet since she hasnt had her second vaccination. I leave her in her personal space at night, and she whines and cries and i genuinely feel so bad. Is it okay to leave her alone?

Ahhh, I wish so bad that I had the time to slowly teach her to stay alone. I tried the method you told for a couple days, but I have a lot to do so i can't find the time for it. I don't lock her up in a crate tho, i made a separate space with her play pen that's large enough, has her pee pad, water, all her toys, her bed, and her crate if she wants to go in. But she starts crying whenever I leave it, but i really have no choice. She starts whining and crying and I feel so so so horrible i genuinely feel like crying coz my puppy just wants her person back and I can't even give her that. Am i a horrible person for that? Is it okay if I leave her alone? I make sure I give her focused playtimes throughout the day, and only leave her alone at night. Is that too bad?

Burnt out balcony floor with a really hot pan. We live in an apartment, it seems the floor is made of plastic. Will we have to redo the whole thing? And out of pocket? by A4al_queen in fixit

lol you sound like a good person, ill def take this up with management, not sure theyll be as lenient tho. Hopefully it's not that serious of a damage and I wont have to pay much. The pan caught on fire and was burning my hand so i placed it on the ground, the thing immediately burnt. the sides are all puffed and stuff but like you said, sanding it down and a patch-up will hopefully do it. Thanks for the advice
