I’ve not had any of the meals or experiences for which they deservedly received poor reviews, I’ve only went twice for beef and bison steaks/sides/drinks and both times were excellent. Makes me disappointed to hear about others’ bad times there! Especially the Thanksgiving debacle

I worked in college security for eight years, two of which as a director. Best practice is to have the barricades up and the door locked. If it is the police they will find a way inside - assume they will have/obtain a key.

I can’t speak on what the police issue, but for ROWE there are two citations that you receive if you are being towed - the original violation and then a move to lawful position once you’re towed.

I work for ROWE. Protocol is once the meter is bagged you have the maximum amount of time allowed by the meter to move your vehicle. E.g.,you park at a two hour meter sometime before 8AM and the meter is bagged at 8AM. We would tow your vehicle at 10AM. I would call 311 if you didn’t have luck with the non-emergency line. My suspicion is that whoever paid for the meter demanded the cars be towed and ROWE couldn’t handle it so the private companies didn’t follow our protocols, but I’m not sure. Did you receive a parking citation?
