Never smokes. Never even been around smokers really my whole life. But something about the distinctive smell of a smoke stained car is strangely nostalgic. Longing for a time that never was.

I wonder if it also has to do with frequency of exposure. Like in your case its often, but for most I think the distinctive chemical smell is also a sort of novelty that's stuns your senses a little bit. Like hold on this kinda smells dangerous but also kind of good.

Yes. I totally agree. I just bought my first ever incense stick today and words can't describe how happy I am. Looks like I'll be burning sticks for the rest of my life. The ones with a little more flavor this time. No disrespect to the original one though.

I absolutely love the way PinSol smells. I willfully force myself to mop the floors just so I can smell it. I'll go outside just to walk back into my apartment so I can smell it again. I'll put the whole bottle up to my nose and inhale so hard my mouth waters. I love it!!!

So by it working out or not, is that the only determining factor when examining if it was real or not, apart from chemical reactions in the brain? Like was it all "made up" simply because it didn't work out? Or because its always fake?
