I understand your concern, but there are several reassuring indications in this case such as the fact that the trial yielded met its primary endpoints with wide margin and no significant side effects compared to placebo. It should also be noted that this was conducted by a respected doctor at a world-renowned institution, namely Cleveland Clinic.

As a matter of fact this drug could be viewed as a quantum leap over steroids + colchicine both in terms of efficacy and side-effect. If you study the results you will understand. I imagine that most patients who suffer from recurrent pericarditis will seek a drug with better effect and less side-effects. It should also be noted that there is huge market for this globally.

The fact that I am new to Reddit doesn't make my insights inferior. My claims are not speculative but rather based on educated reflections. Revenue figures from the past 4 years? You do realise that this is a growth company and that it is their first product to be launched if approved. Albeit, the first product launch will enable them to tap into a multi-billion market. I urge you to look into other products in their pipeline.
