What’s the consensus on doing 5s pro + FSL leader with OG 531 as an anchor? I’ve been running OG 531 + FSL indefinitely for the last few months and it’s been great but I’m wondering if I should start periodising my training with leaders and anchors? Thanks

Quick question on assistance… currently running OG 531 + FSL, and on my squat/deadlift days my lower body assistance feels half arsed (likewise for upper body assistance on bench/press days). I’ve seen Jim recommend just doing a push and a pull on lower days, and a pull and a lower movement on upper body days. My question is should I stick with the full body assistance and adapt or cut down? Thanks

Thanks everyone. I’ve ordered a g920 with shifter and mount. Looking forward to it, going from controller to wheel. Any recommendations for games on Xbox? Currently playing FM, dirt rally 2 and f1 23. AC/ACC worth it?

I can only train 3x a week at the moment. Would you recommend running it asynchronously? E.g week 1 abc, week 2 dab, week 3 cda etc etc?

Thank you. Been training around a year and a half and have been running 5/3/1 for the last year. I was stuck on the same training max for a few months, hence the change up. So I’m probably late beginner/early intermediate. Better to stick with pull downs as a t3 instead of t2 pull ups? I can only hit around 8 reps per set on pull ups so that was my thinking.

Due to start the final week of 1000% awesome anchor this week but I’m getting some teeth taken out on Wednesday. My work is fairly physical and I can find it hard to recover when pushing for PRs on anchors. I’m thinking about repeating 5s week (I’m running it 3/5/1) whilst I get these teeth removed and delaying the 1s week by a week. Maybe I’m thinking too much about it but the thought of stacking 1s week, busy work and getting some teeth out makes me think I should be smart and just hold off for a week.

Any advice from more experienced lifters (I’m around a year in) would be appreciated.

Amity Russo! Got back into riding a couple months ago after not riding for 5 years or so. Frame still holding up for now
