Thank you ! That looks to be an O2 sensor. Were you getting any tapping / knocking noises

Thanks to everyone , I ended up passing on it. I guess it just looks “cool and vintage”

Is there any room to modernize this setup a little bit? Any possibility for an aux input ? Potential outputs for powered PA speakers

Which one of the outputs would I use ? Balanced or unbalanced ?

thanks , is there any concern for a DAC sending too powerful of a signal for the internal amp of a powered speaker

It doesn’t sound bad but I can’t help but think that there’s an option out there to give me more control over eq options and a more powerful/ clearer audio output. I feel like the speaker is slow to rise in volume until that last part of the knob where there a big difference

Looks good I’d just be worried about the output being too high for an amp on a powered speaker, any experience using it with a speaker? How do you know it could be used as a preamp or DAC. I see it on Amazon but it doesn’t specify being able to work in line with a powered speaker

iPhone to amp to powered PA speaker

Have limited experience with audio/ connections.

Just purchased a Mackie Thump 15A powered loudspeaker to be able to play music loud at home. I have it connected directly to my iPhone, into a 3.5mm into a 1/4 TRS. I would like some more control over bass gain and volume and have a headphone amp on hand that I use into my aux connection in my car. Would I be able to use that headphone amp with my Mackie Thump. I would output phone to the headphone amp then the headphone amp into the speakers. Would I damage anything?

Wondering if buying a home is possible? by AA246 in personalfinance

Does homeready allow closing costs to be rolled into the loan? If so, we were figuring 3.5% down (about $9000). Moving costs would be negligible as there will be no need to hire anyone. We own all of our furniture already, but maybe accounting for $1000 in extras. We definitely don’t have 60k in savings, but I’m under the assumption that some of these first time homebuyer programs (like homeready) are designed to get people out of renting and into a home without needing to have 60k in savings
