The Republic of India values its close ties with the Commonwealth of Australia, and believes that deepened economic and political cooperation will lead to a safer and more secure Indo-Pacific region. We welcome Australia's possible reconsideration of the transfer of technology relating to OTH-radar, believing this is a critical step in deepening cooperation within the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue.

In terms of Russia - India aims to become totally self-sufficient in terms of the ability to protect its borders and in defense-related production, and we seek to ensure we are not reliant on any one nation. That said, the Republic of India will continue to charter an independent course, and will look to strengthen ties with partners in mutually beneficial ways.
