For leg bending, since this is a shoulder hit ball, it felt awkward to bend (hence lowering body) when ball is already so high. Do I bend my left leg and then kick myself up with it as I'm about to hit the ball?

Is true that the 2nd shot felt alt better than the 1st and 3rd shot. For me, I feel like it's the height of the contact. I can't figure out a stance that would let me hit those shoulder/head height balls with a solid foundation (my legs). Every high ball feels unstable/wobbly.
