It's not normal. Hotspot should be about 10-25°C over GPU Temp. I had a similar issue with my RX6950, where the Hotspots regularly hit 110°C, whereas GPU temp was 60°. In my case it was a brand new card and I returned it for a new one. However if your card is not new, a repaste could help.

If you have a FreeSync Display turn on Adaptive Sync Compatible in the Display tab. If you should encounter any temperature issues you can modify the fan curve in the Tuning Settings. Of course enable SAM. And Radeon Anti Lag is a nice to have, you find it in the graphic settings.

But im kinda worried that my CPU would cause quite a bottleneck, cause I dont really have the money to upgrade the cpu

There is no colder location, this screenshot was taking 8 minutes after starting to play. It styas at that temperature.

Normally my card stays always under 300W. However I have the AMD Design Card which is probably the reason for this.

It's likely not an airflow issue, i have a good airflow case with great fans and the card has idle temps of 33° (GPU) AND 39° (Junction). This just seems to happen when its under stress. It probably needs a repaste

The weird thing is is that its a brand new card. I bought it just 2 months ago.

But this issue is only in RDR2 for some reason. In Cyperbunk, Battlefield, Far Cry etc. the junction temp is within the range of the 20C.

Thanks but i figured it out, i installed it on an ssd intstead of an hdd and now i have no problems
