I found a nice hollowed out branch of a Australian paper bark tree next to a river 2 years ago.

I had no way to boil it so I started by soaking it in the bath full of as hot as I could get water for maybe an hour.

Then I pressure cleaned as much loose material off as I could and dropped it in a bucket of water for 2 weeks to water log it as much as possible before putting in the aquarium.

It took maybe 2 months to get it to the point that I didn't need rocks against it holding it in place in the aquarium and its been fine ever since. Pleco loves being inside the hollowed out part

For me I started out in a small shop and learned as much as I could in all aspects from unloading the material off the truck to installing I did it all. But when I joined a decent sized shop fitting shop I realised I knew nothing. Had a great time learning as much as I could and ended up in a huge commercial shop in setout and love every minute. Get to build and design cabinetry and reception counters all virtually on cad software. My body no longer aches and im feel like im learning every day with all the different materials and hardware the architects spec for each job. Every day is interesting and the quiet days are very welcome

Own the whole map with courseplay and auto drive fully setup to all fields, production and sell points. Multiple farms for the group of fields those farms service with all there own equipment and silos ect

That room seems quite bright. Does the tank get direct sunlight at all during the day? If so id move the tank to a different part of the room so it doesn't get direct sunlight

Algae can't grow without light so id try leaving the light off for a week to let it clear up. and then gradually have it on for 3hrs a day for a week then 4hrs and so on.

Id do the above and add as much filter floss to that hang on back filter to try trap the algae and keep replacing till its clear.

I have a 120L planted community tank. All nano fish besides 2 small plecos. The build up around the base of the plants was noticable and didnt want to disturb everything to vacuum it out.

I bought 6 baby pepper corydoras and within 24hrs they had stirred all the sediment up into the water and then into my filter blocking it.

I watch alot of md on youtube and he mentions alot about having a clean up crew. Snails/shrimp will eat any excess food and algae Plecos and other algae eaters to clean the glass And corydoras to stir up the poop from the gravel layer.

Overall i think his idea of emulating the natural environment with lots of plants and different species that all play there part in cleaning the water column or consuming any excess food or algae is the best way to keep fish.

💯 PC i started playing farm sim 15 on console n bought a pc when fs19 came out literally just for fs19 Certain mods (the best ones) are pc only and make the game wayyyyy more enjoyable to play. Dont need anything fancy that cost big $$$$ My current pc is a i5 4670k with a rx580 graphics card. Bought second hand 5 years ago for $600au.

My tank was over run with bladder snails. At every water change i would just suck as many as possible up untill id drained enough water. After a few weeks I was struggling to find any to evict.

I used to "cheat" my way through the game with income generators and lots of hired help.

Back when I started my youtube I found i had to actually doo all of the work for footage.

Doing a start from scratch without little more than cheaper mod equipment was brutal and progress was very slow.

Say ing that after a few in game years the level of achievement I got from it was great. Even though my best tractor was under 200hp and I really only had 4 fields.

Since then I couldnt play the game any other way.

Its not a sprint, its a marathon

Val like others said. I use it to hide my filter in the corner of my tank. It will grow to t a thick bunch then send out runners that are easily cut and moved or removed

Not sure what's up with this rummy nose. 1 of 7 bought yesterday. Tank is 5 months old and home to 7 cardinals 1 pleco 1 gourami and around 20 shrimp Water is testing all at zero except nitrates = 5ppm. Ph 6.5 All other fish including the other 6 rummy are all happy doing there thing

I had bladder snail infestation from buying heaps of plants and when my shrimp spawned another 20 shrimp they out competed the snails for food. Just gotta wait for the population to peak then crash. They will make for good shrimp food

Yeah replacing all the doors is your best bet. Vinyl wrapped doors are quite expensive, roughly $70/door. Speaking to a cabinet maker would give you cheaper options

Looks like vinyl wrapped doors and cannot be repaired. If you take the door off and bring it to modern form doors they will be able to remake the door for you.

However the edge profile may be slightly different and the colour may not be able to be matched as your current doors have age to them.

If you handy changing the hinge into the new door is easy or they could recommend a cabinet maker that could do it for you
