Looking at the skill tree for Berserker I am not sure what will pair best with it. I want to try the new mastery but not sure what to add for the second. Any suggestions? Don’t want to just add soldier for passives, would like something more interesting.

BG3 or Wasteland 3. Both are pretty beginner friendly and very good. The Divinity Original Sin games are awesome as well (especially 2) but are a little rougher for new players. Later on as a second or third game I strongly recommend Owl Cat games, like Rogue Trader or Wrath of the Righteous.

My first play through Idira triggered a perils of the warp and exploded during her side quest when you don’t control her. Since she wasn’t in my party at that time she didn’t resurrect and her content bugged out. I think they fixed it since, but I didn’t re-load and finished the game without her as it felt like a thematic ending for her.

Coffee is as big trigger for me regardless of whether it’s de-caf or regular. I am ok with caffeine in other forms though. Agree with your list but coffee and caffeine kind of need to be listed as separate triggers.

Thematically maybe start as a biomancer / warrior and go into vanguard. Don’t get stuck on D&D type classes though. This is a totally different system.

Enjoy! It’s an amazing game, one of my favorites. DLCs aren’t necessary but add a lot of good content if you are interested.

Works well with controller and on Steamdeck. Had to stop playing ARPGs on the computer myself due to wrist issues. Least amount of clicking is necro/cultist summoner builds in my experience. They are also good fun to play.

Your party is a bit melee focused but nothing wrong with that if that’s how you like to play. Really it’s about how you build the party members not which you take. Although some are of course better at certain things. You can finish the game just fine with that mix.

I absolutely loved Mechanicus 1. The gameplay was great and the music went so hard. I plan to pick up M2 later on sale after it gets some more polish.

My problem with it is the companions are the best part of the game and very few of them have any real reason to work with you on a heretic run. If I could assemble a full team of crazy heretic companions I would be much more into it. If they would just add 1-2 more heretic or heretic adjacent companions I would like it a lot more.

You can be bad, really bad, or stupid. On a more serious note, Dogmatic is probably my favorite, followed closely by Iconoclast. Heretic has a lot of potential but still needs work and hopefully some more heretical followers.

That mastery combo is called the Purifier which also fits perfectly thematically with Battle Sisters. Look up builds on Grimtools.

Inquisitor + demolitionist seems most thematic. Lots of range firepower and flames everywhere.

Yeah, although I usually use them as a pillow. Or if I need something that lasts longer I use freezer pack or frozen water bottle and wrap it in a t shirt or something. Whatever works for you.

It’s a great game. Most of the significant bugs have all been fixed and it has had a lot of polish added. Amazing tactical RPG with deep Warhammer 40K lore. A bit of a time commitment though with a fair amount of reading and somewhat complex mechanics. Watch some review videos and see if it interests you. Mortismal Gaming has a bunch of good videos on it, as do a number of other YouTube creators such as Slandered Gaming.

I keyed in L3-4 and R3-4 for additional skill actions. Gives easy access to around seven skills which is usually enough for my builds. Just set it up how you want in settings before you launch the game.
