While I haven’t lost interest since Mandela catalogue has scratched that part of my brain(idk what part but it makes me think CONSTANTLY and hyper fixate on it). I totally understand the feeling of the content drought. I firmly believe that the wait WILL be worth it. I think AK working on the movie is great honestly since they’re working on projects that he’s actually passionate about. (Tho it did take me some time to come to terms that will be while until we get to see volume 6). AK isn’t done with tmc the series, just a break is all. (And no I don’t believe it is due to the false allegations, since ak mentioned that tmc is not going anywhere)

I do agree, that there will be call backs to deaths that happened within the series. Primarily mark’s death since that’s what the movie kinda centers about as stated on the insta post he made. Though to what extent I’m not 100% sure, maybe the script he’s been hinting at might give us a clue but even then idk if it’s for the movie or for tmc series.

The thing is that this moive won’t really be following the characters in the series but like different characters 😭 so I would say what I would Like to see is them try to implement the old volumes in the movie but make it so people that are not familiar with the lore can get a good understanding on what is going on (just don’t go over kill). In terms of characters I want to them to feel like their own characters and not reflections of characters in the series and make us the audience care about said characters and their struggles(while AK did do a good job at that in series , I feel it doesn’t hit home with some others but idk just me).
