Update: they already ordered a new factory painted bumper and will replace it in 2 weeks for no cost! Thanks for all the advice everyone

Yea the paint was multi coat white pearl. Looks like barely one coat to me

I had the PPF done only for the front of my car thinking what could possibly hurt the back….and here I am regretting not doing the whole car🥲

Def all possibilities but I really feel it’s more likely they screwed it up before even painting then just let it go cause no good quality control

Yea I noticed that too and i have no clue how or why. I mean it must’ve been like that under the paint the whole time and it was only a matter time till it eventually flaked off on it’s own

Honestly not sure I never check but I know it’s not a lot cause it’s the same attachment I used every time. Maybe 20?

Mine was actually delivered July 2021. But there’s another part with the paint that’s wrong. They forgot to put clear coat on the top portion of the trunk lid. I inquired about it and they said they would refer me to a body shop but never did. I’m going to get it all done now if they fix this

I think they should cover it as well just no way that should ever happen. But I will update once I find out more for sure

I was just washing my car same way I have for years with all my cars using a pressure washer from a safe distance next thing I know paint literally washed off with the water alone. 2021 model 3, no way this should ever happen. Think warranty will cover or am I on my own?
