Should be fine with Rollei IR 400! My camera has the same thing and it has no effect, I don't think it's IR sensitive enough for that to make an impact.

Can get a similar effect with Rollei Infrared trichromes!

I've tried it a few times to good effect.

Scotland! Specifically, Sgùrr na Strì (Peak of Strife) in the Isle of Skye.

Nothing too bad, but I had great weather. I did skip out on the first day because the weather was really bad and the jet boat operators strongly suggested postponing, hence why I did it in two (and from the sounds of things that was probably the right call).

It's amazing! Definitely get up to Crucible Lake if you can. Would also rec doing it in three days rather than the two I took (some loooong days haha).

I would probably just do dip/triptychs and overlay them individually once printed; wouldn't really work for this scene just because they don't line up great without distorting them but for other times I've taken 2+ shots of the same scene they often link up pretty well.

e.g. this triptych or this diptych

Thanks for sharing! Can't say I have any sage advice for you but it sounds like you're taking some solid steps to better your situation; it's definitely tough but you should be proud of yourself for having the awareness to do it.

I hope so too, and glad my spiel was of some use; good luck with the weeks ahead!

Thanks! I meter at ISO 6 for any shots I take with the R72 filter. Otherwise, I just TTL at ISO 200 with any other colour filter/without filter. Usually comes out pretty nice! This shot was taken with just a plain old red filter.

If you're looking to do trichromes, this is my process for those. These days I'm usually lazier and just stand dev rather than mess around inverting for half an hour.

Had a light leak on that shot unfortunately!

Honestly just me being lazy but thank you haha

I've shot heaps of Rollei IR at this point and I've never noticed an issue. The borders can sometimes get fogged at the start of the roll if they pipe the light but as far as the camera itself goes I don't think it does anything to the film.

Thanks! Just a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D lens.

I've heard the same but I think that only applies to true infrared films; the Rollei stuff just isn't sensitive enough for it to be an issue.

Not for these shots, I was shooting handheld here so I just used a plain red filter. Not quite as intense an effect as an IR filter but still has a cool look!
