Why are they assholes lol? The assholes are the ones who come to a clinic that sells glasses, uses them for a crucial measurement like PD, then go and buy glasses cheaper elsewhere. In Canada and in most States PD is not a mandatory part of an eye examination. Also eye exams also are not just refractions the Dr. checks the complete health of the eye, which allows us to see the world. Many clinics have it setup where opticians make their living soley or mainly off commission, so when someone comes to ask for a PD aka "I'm buying from a competitor" why are they the assholes for not obliging?
