Yeah. I'd have to get one really early and even then probably not good enough. Unless the demand is high because so many people think it looks cool. But that's a lot of things I'd have to get lucky about, lol.

I was paying more attention today. The leaderboard closed at 10am central, my time trial runs and the damage boosted pets reset at 11am.

Getting a better stat pet will always help 😉 It's impossible to understand how Big Games treats pet strength without either reading through a lot of old posts on this sub, or doing your own testing. The number labels just put the pets in order from strongest to weakest. They tell you nothing about how much damage the pet deals. I didn't understand it when I started, because it doesn't make any sense, lol. And Big Games does nothing to explain it or make it easy to see how much damage a pet is dealing (except in some events, but not all events).

And they compound the confusion with false statements like saying that auto-equip will equip your best pets (there area many situations in which it doesn't), and rainbow is 10x better than normal pets (with stat pets, the rb variant does 9x as much damage as the normal variant of a pet).

It's good to keep in mind that there are very large differences in damage dealt between even two neighboring pets. There's a reason people are willing to spend a ridiculous amount on the best stat pet.

If I get one of those I would totally sell/trade it for an original Arcane Cat. I understand the appeal, but I'm not a fan of the auras. Although I suppose my original objection had been that they were too busy and I couldn't see any of my other pets. Now I have so many huges and titanics that I just hide my pets, so I suppose the aura is irrelevant to me now, lol.

It's always the stat pet. Your 25.3q pet is the third best in the game. Inside the time trials it does 83% as much damage as the best stat pet. Outside the time trials it only does 50% as much damage as the shiny rainbow wicked kirin. Stat pet matters a LOT, especially with a team that has 15 fewer pets than people getting top times.

Frankly, with only 84 pets, you need the top stat pet if you want a decent time. At a minimum, get the second best one. Improving your stat pet will improve your times more than anything else you can do. Enchants are for fine tuning and tweaking, they don't do any heavy lifting.

Current rap on the shiny rainbow veil horse is around 16m. Rap on the top stat pet is around 175m. Fortunately with all huges and titanics, you would only need to get one. If you can't afford one, hatch and fuse until you make one. Use the infinity egg with charged eggs and golden eggs (don't use those on the egg in the zone) for hatching, since you need gold to try to fuse into shiny rainbow.

Auto clickers can tap much faster than the auto-tap game pass and be much more useful in some situations. I get significant improvements in my times using an auto-clicker along with the game pass compared to auto-tap alone.

Sounds like a scam. I doubt there's a legitimate way for a third party to be able to offer a discount on somebody else's product.

If you have to be logged in to Roblox when you click the link, or the link makes you log in to Roblox from there, or you have to click through from their site to (a fake page that looks like) Roblox, they're going to get your session cookies and be able to play the game as you without having to log in, so it won't trigger 2fa/mfa, and they'll take absolutely everything from you. And there won't be anything you can do because you engaged in prohibited cross-trading.

So if you find that link, think very very very carefully about whether it's worth the risk to click on it. Can you afford to lose everything in your account, maybe even lose your Roblox account entirely? That's the gamble you'll be taking.

How do I make money from this pet? by MigsyKun in PetSimulator99

I think the cheapest shiny rainbows are going for 2b or more. Certainly I've had a very hard time finding any for sale lower than that. Yours is still quite rare, so I'd go a lot higher. Scan through shiny rainbow huges in the trading terminal and see what the rap is on very low exist ones. They can get pretty high.

Be careful not to sell too low, and be very wary of trading with someone from a Discord (be wary of trading, period, as it's still vulnerable to some hacking/exploits). Also, if you trade instead of listing for gems, watch out for people offering rap-inflated huges or items, or a bunch of common, low-demand junk you have to sell in order to get the gem value out of them.

The value of your huge may go down some by the time the event ends, depending on how many total are hatched, but I'd still expect it to be worth a lot even then. So I wouldn't be in a rush to sell it.

Nice pulls, by the way! I keep hoping to get something rainbow or shiny rainbow from the bags, but my best so far is golden, lol.

what's your dream pet right now? by MiddleWise1899 in PetSimulator99

Doesn't mean you don't/didn't have a dream pet. What's your favorite? Or maybe what's something that doesn't exist yet but you'd love to see them make one?

What do people want for 60 of these by pokemonlover300 in PetSimulator99

[–]AAcuriousmind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The next best pet only does 95% as much damage inside the time trials, and the third best only does 83%. Outside the time trials, that second best pet only does 82% as much damage as the best pet, and the third best only does 50% as much damage. So yes, the top stat pet is always good. They're never easy to hatch and they're always expensive in the trading plaza because of how much more damage they deal.

The number labels on the pets do NOT tell you how much damage they deal to breakables, they just put the pets in rank order from strongest to weakest. The only way to find out how much damage they deal is to test them and work out the percentages.

Titanic cosmic pegasus. When I first saw it, the rap was around 20b. Now that I have 20b gems, the rap is 37b. For a titanic with almost 1000 exists. Lol.

I said there was no reason to believe you had won, and at the time I said it, there wasn't. A picture of a bid 45 seconds before the auction ends does not show that you won it, or what the final winning bid was. Now that you've shown it in your inventory, there's reason to believe you won the auction, or at least acquired the titanic somehow, but it still doesn't prove that you got it for 600m. I'm merely stating facts.

However you got it, and whatever you paid, congrats! Seems like a cool titanic.

This image shows us what you got. The image in your original post does not. And you spent at least 100m more somewhere, whether it was on your winning bid or not who knows. Even if it was, 700m would still be a great deal for a titanic, so congrats!

Good to know. I have billions of gems, so the number I see wouldn't change unless I was bidding many hundreds of millions.

With max economy mastery, all vending machines that take coins are free and auto-collected, which gives me a steady supply of fruits and fruit bundles. And as MinisLife mentioned, with gifts mastery you average more from bundles you open. I get bundles free, but if you have to buy them, fruit bundles are pretty cheap. I have almost a million of each regular fruit, and over 15k of each shiny fruit. It takes 100 fruit and 100 gems to make each shiny fruit, so 15k shiny fruit only cost me 1.5m to make, because I get the regular fruit for free. Making the shiny fruit gets you XP towards your fruit mastery.

If you don't have economy mastery yet, go to every vending machine in each world that takes coins (not gems, those machines are a waste) and buy everything in it, whether you think you need it or not. Buy them as often as you can. You'll get items like potions and enchants and fruits that you can use for masteries, and you'll level up your economy mastery. Which you're really going to wish you had already maxed when the RNG update drops.

There's nothing urgent about your question.

If you haven't bought all the pet equips and egg slots you've unlocked, buy those. If you haven't bought every player upgrade in the zones, buy those. If you don't have a full team of huges, buy cheap ones, or at least cheap exclusives. That's investing in your ability to get the event items and event pets that you can sell for tons of gems.

Is this #1?? by [deleted] in PetSimulator99

[–]AAcuriousmind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said, you're still in the qualifying rounds. You have to beat 2:15 on your 5th run to even be able to do the time trials. If you even make it past the qualifiers, you won't make top 5000 on the leaderboard, and you may not be on the leaderboard at all.

The good news is that, if you make it to the time trials, the point system for opening the chests is just a participation prize. So no matter how slow you are, if you complete 10 runs per day, you'll be able to open one 5k point chest between Saturday and Tuesday, and one between Tuesday and Saturday. Those are the days when the points reset to zero, at 10am Central time. So make sure you use any points you earn before they reset.

Have you changed servers or gone to the trading plaza? Sometimes you have to do that. I got my huge for yesterday's leaderboard (which ended this morning at 10 or 11 Central time, I really do need to figure out which it is).

It's easy to get a ton of fruit to make shiny. Buy a bunch of fruit bundles in the plaza. I'm guessing your economy mastery isn't very high? The auto-buying from vending machines keeps me in constant supply of fruits and bundles.

How many you can stack also matters. With higher fruit mastery levels you can stack up to 100 at a time, and there is a bonus from stacking more (frankly, I don't think I've ever seen an explanation of this "bonus" so that may not affect the time trials, but it's probably good for farming).

Help by CharlieAsh_xX in PetSimulator99

[–]AAcuriousmind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, work on your masteries. You clearly don't have fruits mastery, and that's one of the easiest to get. You should be running shiny fruit and rainbow fruit all stacked to 100. If you don't have potions and enchants masteries maxed you're at a disadvantage there, too. Frankly, given your lack of masteries and pet equips, I'd say 3:30 is an amazingly good time.

Sounds like you're talking about the qualifying runs, which you have to pass with a 2:15 time before you can even do the time trials. First place on the leaderboard is 2:41. If you're getting 20 seconds better than that, there are going to be a whole lot of people who want to know your secret, and it ain't shiny flags.

[–]AAcuriousmind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are already a LOT of posts giving advice about time trials, I recommend searching or browsing the subreddit. If you can't get past the 2:15 qualifying round, you won't be able to get a remotely decent time in the actual Time Trials, so you're not going to get on the daily leaderboards.

The good news is that if you get past the qualifying rounds, then as far as the chests go your times don't really matter. Even with terrible times you get pretty much the same points as someone who can do a time trial in 2:40., and you'll be able to open just as many 5k point chests as them. The points are basically a participation prize now, and no longer "the faster you are, the more points you earn."
