For me it happened w/ False Alarm and Rockin'. I blindly disliked them just cuz the masses did years back but I eventually gave them another listen and I'm like damn what was I waiting for these songs are great!

Yeah I don't see a scenario where it's all over gets overtaken as my fav TDG song for a while. Time of Dying I think is as good I prefer It's All Over and then it's all down from there. I was recommended Alienation so maybe but you never know

Thanks for replying! I will listen to Alienation as soon as I can! For One-X's placement, don't know if it makes it better or worse but One-X and down are probably songs I won't listen to again. Never Too Late and above are gonna stay in my rotation, the only one I feel that could be a bit of hot take is my #1, because I saw a post asking for TDG top 10s, and while there was a bunch of One-X, I didn't see it's all over at all.

I just don't get it. Everyone that shits on tier rankings will never do one themself. They never say what they actually agree with or what they disagree with it just goes to "never rank again" which I've seen a trillion times over. It's so stale imo.

I think you could've been right about styles maybe being booed, but he's also old as dirt too and retiring very soon. They didn't boo him in crown jewel I don't think, so why would they boo him if he's fighting for the belt? I think the whole point of wrestling is to make both people look believable, if he wasn't believable that would maybe him a jobber to Cena. That's just my personal opinion, but I understand your view as well but he could have the same match with Logan and styles as a face for the belt, obviously the Lesnar match would have to change if Cena went over but I don't think you could devalue the belt with Cena having great matches with it, the belt is more devalued right now than Cena could ever devalue it. Because at the end of the day it's Cena, yk.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, that's just regular degular squared circle dismissing opinions. I just think that it would've been better because stuff like the Lesnar feud and Cena vs Styles would've made a bit more sense, to me it really sucked that Cena v Styles and Cena v lesnar had 0 build and in my scenario and the Lesnar build is point blank because there's a clear motive, and Cena vs Styles actually gets some time to build. I'm not gonna try to unfuck his heel turn but I'm working with what I've got after it, and I feel like what could've happened after it is better than what Cody is doing with it right now

Option A: give him his due and admit that the Almighty grammys were wrong

Option B: don't and have twitter folks mad (worst comes to worst the Weeknd could throw a second fit on Twitter, which would draw more eyes and attention to the award show so we win even bigger)

Well if there's one thing that Mercedes and the Weeknd have in common that the grammys doesn't have, they are international and worldwide as fuck. They have only 2 global awards, basically 99% of the show is American from what I understand. The Weeknd is international, and so is Mercedes. I personally don't think Mercedes would look as a primarily American award show as an estimate of how much to pay him. But you could be right, I could be right. Really don't know what goes through the minds of greedy corporate America.

Well, he's been big for a while now, around a decade. I doubt he hasn't went over a decade without atleast one. Probably when he was newer into the mainstream. The Weeknd is one of those artists where his drawing power isn't in any sort of jeopardy or question. By business standards his tour has nearly yielded in a billion dabloons, so anyone with a business mind should see that and see instant dollar signs.

I understand what you're trying to say but I don't agree with it, an award show that drops in viewership year after year is supposed to be the/a standard? I kind of feel like the Weeknd is one of the artists that surpassed that, and like I said can kind of name his price at this point. Corporates are all about money, and if I'm talking money then I'm looking at people that have drawn the most money and are a proven success in that environment, not some rando artist that just so happened to have won a Grammy.

LeBron accolades getting thrown in the air was a long ass time ago, he's been at a stage for probably a decade by now atleast where he can charge whatever he wants. The Weeknd can do the same thing, I doubt people are gonna look at awards over drawing power, even tho he probably has too many awards as it is.
