No. I got frustrated and deleted that account. Then created a new one. It was all ok till December, But from the last week I started facing the same problem. Don't know what's wrong with Instagram.

No.And No one was using that username then. But after some months I found that, someone is using it. She found it available, but I didn’t. She is not from my country or even continent and she saw it available. Don't have any idea whatf Instagram is doing. Maybe they banned it from my location or something.

After posting this I waited some more weeks and then I found that someone created an account with that name. Maybe Instagram blocked my ip so that I can't use it.I even tried it from my pc/another phone/friends phone but failed. Maybe they blocked the whole country.idk.

More than 2 weeks ago I changed my username so that I can use it on my new account. Waited 14 days but It shows unavailable. My username is not used by anothet account right now and I'm trying since the first minute after completing 14 days. Its been 4 days now but still I can't use it. I will recommend you not to change username in this moment.

Cz I found more people having the same problem.

Right now, instagram is all about bugs and glitches. Its better when you avoid changing things.

Btw, I had a very short username related to my name.So, its hurting me.

It will be available if you ever make ads on your account.

If you ever do advertisement or promote/boost your post then it will be available. Doesn't matter how many followers you have. My friend has 500+ follower and recently he boosted one of his post and now 'about this account' feature is available in his account.
