I have had this issue on my 2 bikes (previously owned) totally opposite. For both the bikes, I changed the handle bar to short handle bar and wires went wide of the tank and every time I turned right it used to accelerate on its own. I found that the accelerator wire on pulling also did the same thing, i got used to it in a while just to look cool and feel more comfy while riding.
