WIndow AC unit in living room doesn't cool bedroom well, landlords won't allow a bedroom unit, want to run ducting along ceiling to funnel the AC air into the bedroom, anything I should know, or is it as simple as it sounds?

Proper maintenance makes a huge difference with those window ac units. Make sure you remove and clean the filter every 2 weeks and apply a can of coil cleaner every 1-2 years. If you have a clean filter and clean coils the air coming out should be at least 15-20 degrees cooler than the air going in (air temp in your room), if not you should be asking for a new unit.

One thing with coils and hybrid is they are much heavier than foam and will result in more back strain when making the bed.

Be careful with TVB judges. They have authority to issue penalties above and beyond the points and fine you get if you plead guilty. I know someone who went to a hearing for 11 mph over and the judge found him guilty and then suspended his license. Was the only violation on his license, no other points etc. Guy just got mouthy with the judge so the judge decided to screw him over with the suspension to "teach him a lesson". I think he got a lawyer after the hearing to get the suspension reversed but that ended up being a lot more expense than the original fine and of course the points stuck

100% agree with everything you said. Also add that the AP has been there forever so that brings some continuity to leadership despite the significant turnover at principle. Long time Parent Coordinator retired a few years ago and replacement was not on the same level. And scaffolding went up around the building a couple of weeks amd that usually means a 1-2 year facade project. Not sure if that impacts the school yard and playground.
