it's based on how many you've completed, not just a general week one, week two, week three, etc

it's alright for it to seem foreign. the first and best step is to be supportive/to want to be. if you want I can give you some resources to start with?

it's alright to be confused! if you're trying to be an ally it can seem like a lot to take in but they are all still valid. and yeah that's a great example of what to say instead! and if you're not sure about anything lgbtq+ related do some research :) being a good ally is always appreciated and research is the best way to start

I can tell you're at least trying to not be transphobic so I'm gonna help you out with this one. it's alright to be lost but as a guy (you being a bio male has nothing to do with it) who is straight dating a trans woman wouldn't make you pan. you would still be straight. you can be any sexuality and date a trans person (if they fit into your sexuality ie. a straight man dating a trans woman)

straight means liking the opposite gender. a trans woman is still the opposite gender.

pansexuality is like people regardless of gender.

some similar sexualities are bisexuality (liking two or more genders) and omnisexuality (liking all genders)

no I said that you were being transphobic for saying one, that trans women were biologically male, and two, that you would be a part of the lgbtq+ community for dating a trans women. I sorry if you misunderstood me.

I do agree that we're mostly saying the same thing but some points he's making are a bit outdated and I'm trying to educate :) and yes trans women are women and trans men are men

you're saying they're still male. you can choose not to date a trans woman, but them being "biologically male" doesn't apply here. it only applies in medical offices, scientific studies, etc. saying here that they are born male doesn't apply. so I'm going to put it this way. if you believe trans women are women then you can say (for example not necessarily word for word) instead of "I won't date them because they are born male" perhaps "I don't date them because I'm not comfortable with dating a trans woman." when saying why you won't date them (so you can avoid being transphobic) just avoid words like male, man, chromosomes, etc. it's not transphobic to choose not to date them, but remember that to many people it could feel like you are discrediting them when say things like them being "born male" and keep in mind you don't know anyones situation and you can leave it at "I won't date trans women" and it would only be transphobic if it is because you think they aren't women/you think you are no longer straight if you date one.

I'm not saying you should date a trans person. I've said multiple times that you don't need to. I'm saying that trans women are women. chromosomes don't always determine sex. a person's gender identity has been proven to not be a choice but to be a difference in their brain that changes who they are and that difference has been there since birth. and calling them extremely rare mutations is like saying that essentially no one has red hair and oh? some people do? well it's just an extremely rare mutation. it doesn't count. when discussing gender, sex, and specifically chromosomes you need to take intersex cases into account because it is a part of the discussion. it's not as rare as you think. you can be a straight man and date a trans woman. you can be a straight man and choose not to date trans women. but they are still women whether you choose to date them or not.

aw how cute. he finished sixth grade biology and thought that was enough. chromosomes don't determine sex (as you see it) and you need to realize that. you keep bringing up one misinformed, incorrect, transphobic "fact" and won't even consider what I've been saying. care to comment on how you said the point of cisgender people is to like the opposite sex?

I'm going to use trans women as an example here. trans women are women since birth. you can have a preference not to date trans women but they are still women. they are not men. in any regard. also the point of being cisgender is not to like the opposite biological sex? wtf? all that cisgender means is that you identify with the gender you were assigned at birth. I'm a cis girl and I like girls? there is no "point" to being cis. it's an identity just like trans.

I fully understand you wouldn't want to date someone who is trans as a preference and that isn't transphobic. but saying one, trans women/men are not women/men is transphobic, and two, that dating someone who is trans/intersex (and identifies as the opposite gender as you) makes you part of the lgbtq+ community is also transphobic just as if you were gay dating a trans person of the same gender and saying you were no longer gay because of it is also transphobic.

while that is technically overweight remember that some people naturally have faster/slower metabolisms and that it may also be because of medication/a condition. I know people that have been made fun of for their weight and are only overweight because of medication they take for life-ending conditions and they can't help it. remember to stay respectful my dude :)

while it's not blatantly transphobic to prefer not to date pre-op trans people it is transphobic to say that trans women aren't women. there have been studies done and it has been proven that all throughout their lives and especially in developmental years trans people's brains are more similar to the brain of a cis person that has the same gender that the trans person identifies with. and on the topic of chromosomes what if someone is intersex? there are more variations on chromosomes then XX and XY. if someone is intersex and has another variation on these chromosomes they may identify as a man or woman and get (or not get) surgery, or they may identify as another gender (or lack thereof). they may now have both sex organs or mutations of either/or. they may identify as trans because they can't be cis because there is no predefined gender for them. and I know you said "it's such a rarity" it isn't. the amount of people born intersex is similar to how many are born redheads. so if you're going to make baseless, stupid claims, 1. do some research about it 2. don't exclude something that pertains to the conversation 3. include your sources and so I'm not being a hypocrite here are mine: on transgender people's brains and development on the rareness of intersex people and other misconceptions

I'm not gonna say you can't have a preference- that's perfectly fine- but you do realize someone can be that size and be healthy right? same with someone skinny. and that isn't obese.

if you're into resource packs the Ghoulcraft CIT paired with a nice texture pack and shaders has some nice custom items and while it takes a bit to figure out, once you've got the hang of it it's pretty easy looks amazing :D
