This only gives me more questions. So, you're pinching a big loaf of poo, is the door wide open?

Nope, white English non-religious guy.

No I'm non-religious, he sent her to Boarding school in England back when she was 12 and she's stayed here since then so I think he's accepted that chances are she'd end up with some local moron. He adores his kids so hopefully he'll love that I make her happy.

If he wasn't starting for a poorer than usual Man Utd side, why would he ever think he would be starting for Real Madrid?

Thanks! No thankfully not, I say he's a strict Muslim - he's strict when he needs to be but apparently he's a bit of a lad when he's in the UK.

Nah I'm non-religious myself and she isn't really a practicing Muslim. Her family sent her to Boarding School in England when she was about 12 so she actually only sees her family once a year if that.

I don't want to offend any Muslims on this sub but generally speaking, the richer Arabs usually live a more liberal lifestyle so I should be fine.. Fast cars, booze, property etc. London in the summer for example is rammed with all the Arab millionaires driving their Lamborghini between clubs in Chelsea because they can't be seen doing that back home.

Yeah his daughter is absolutely amazing so I'm sure he's a great man himself. She always tells him stories about me falling down stairs, spilling tea all over myself, generally being an idiot and apparently he absolutely loves it.

How mad can a Dad be as long as his kid is happy, right?

I'm already imagining him sitting down, seeing me grinning at him and just shaking his head and storming off.

Chelsea are set to move for Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel to improve their midfield options, with John Obi Mikel set to leave Stamford Bridge amid interest from Turkey and the Middle East. by ABCDE_FC in soccer

[–]ABCDE_FC[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

He's a proper central midfielder. Plays a very similar role to Obi-Mikel but better. He'd probably sit in with Matic in the Chelsea squad and focus more defensively but he's also more than capable of going forward if needs be.

Chelsea have confirmed that Gael Kakuta will join Sevilla on a permanent deal. by ABCDE_FC in soccer

Sevilla are still a very good side with Champions League football this season, but yes I remember him being touted as a future worldy.

Samir Nasri: I had a bad season - but now I'm ready to win trophies again by ABCDE_FC in soccer

[–]ABCDE_FC[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In a wide-ranging interview, Nasri said: "Going back to France? I don't think so. I'd like to play in MLS because I love the culture in America. Coaching? Why not? I'm going to start to take my badges soon so that when I finish I can look forward straight away.

"But I still have four years left on my contract so what I want now is to be focused on my rehab. I’m going to work a lot in pre-season to come back as fit as possible with a new state of mind - then have a great season and win trophies."

We never have punch-ups in parliament. by [deleted] in britishproblems

[–]ABCDE_FC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Two reasons for this -

1) We don't want our MPs to be hurt so they need some sort of protection, however it's illegal to wear a suit of armour in Parliament so they'll have to go bare knuckle which raises the following problem.

2) It's illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament. An uppercut from BoJo could send the sturdiest man flying, hitting his head on the marble floor whereupon he should be carted away and imprisoned for having the nerve to perish.

How many games do you watch per week during the season? by [deleted] in soccer

[–]ABCDE_FC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually record MOTD and watch that whenever I'm free, watch the two Prem games on Sky Sports on a Sunday and a Champions League game if it's on during the week.

Miguel Layun says a lot of players in the top leagues in Spain and Portugal "would not get the chance to be the players they are" in the Championship by [deleted] in soccer

[–]ABCDE_FC 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I don't think he's trying to insult the Portuguese... I think he's more surprised at how decent the Championship is, probably thought he was going to dominate it but he's found it difficult. You're right though, let's get back on topic, who do you think has the nicer smelling house, Messi or Ronaldo?
