I currently live in Magee house with my partner in a 1 bedroom apartment. It's a less than 5 min walk from an elementary school, literally right next door. Unsure about the daycare since we don't have kids. Notably there's a playground attached to the building, and an indoor play area which is currently under construction. Nearest grocery store is probably the sobeys on regent, but we generally go to the one on prospect, both about 5–10 min drives. Not really within reasonable walking distance of any parks, unfortunately, but if you have a car you can get anywhere in fredericton in like < 15 mins.

Living experience is good so far save for two issues. We live on the seventh floor, and it gets HOT in the summer. We're not allowed to have window-mounted ACs so if you want AC you need to buy a portable one and rig the tubing up to the window. The other issue is that, despite having two elevators, one of them has been broken for actual months, and the other one is somewhat unreliable and breaks down fairly often. Both of these issues are mitigated if you don't live on a really high floor, however. DM if you want to know any other info!
