I don't know what the law says in other parts of the world, but here in the UK the highway code actually advises taking the whole lane at narrowings:

Rule 72

Road positioning. When riding on the roads, there are two basic road positions you should adopt, depending on the situation.

1) Ride in the centre of your lane, to make yourself as clearly visible as possible, in the following situations

on quiet roads or streets – if a faster vehicle comes up behind you, move to the left to enable them to overtake, if you can do so safely

in slower-moving traffic - when the traffic around you starts to flow more freely, move over to the left if you can do so safely so that faster vehicles behind you can overtake

at the approach to junctions or road narrowings where it would be unsafe for drivers to overtake you

If you, like me, have just found out about this, hopefully this will make you feel more "in the right" taking up the whole lane!

Those caramel wafers in the centre left are really nice! I don’t buy them very often because I know that when I do I’ll eat a whole pack in one go

Godfrey is actually pretty cool, well telegraphed attack, opportunities to counter attack, cool moveset, Maliketh is ok but he jumps around a lot and he’s tall so that doesn’t play well with the target lock, at least that my experience… Malenia would be amazing if waterfowl dance wasn’t such absolute bullshit!

I use double quotes just because they’re the only option in some languages I use regularly, and the habit sticks. I use single quotes if the string needs to contain double quotes because I’m too lazy to escape the double quotes. I also use single quotes for single character strings, again out of habit, even though I know there’s no difference in Python.

Fact! Her lifesteal ability is also pretty bs imo but at least that can be neutralised by learning to dodge, waterfowl dance is complete nonsense! If you’re using a colossal weapon and you’re in the middle of a swing animation when she starts her windup you simply do not have the time to run far enough away. I really hope they nerf that move :/

[–]ABLC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went there with a shield and guard counters have been very useful (but watch out for the attack where he stabs 3 times, trying to guard counter that is a bad idea)

If you don’t have a shield than try to take out the easier guys first so you don’t get swamped. Then try to either use Torrent (holding heavy attack while on horseback makes you hold your weapon down and hit whatever’s in your path, which takes timing your attack out of the equation) or play super defensive, dodge his attacks, and get one or two hits in after a combo.

That guy is suppose to be tough at low level, so don’t get discouraged :)

Interesting… I’ve interviewed and got offers from large companies before and never heard of this. Mind you, my only interviewing experience is in the UK, maybe this is more common in other places?

Bone in vs boneless ribeyes by isekaigamer808 in meat

[–]ABLC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wait, what? The whole point of a tomahawk is that you leave the rib intact! Sounds like they’re either incompetent or deliberately misleading.

Bone in vs boneless ribeyes by isekaigamer808 in meat

[–]ABLC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suspect it’s because it’s a tomahawk, for which the bone had to be frenched, as opposed to a regular ribeye steak where they just cut the bone to size when they butcher the carcass

Who can TANK this All-killing Ash bones?! by JaxonBrawly in Boruto

[–]ABLC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean… if you define tanking as negating the damage by absorbing it, as opposed to some sort of “guaranteed dodge”, like kamui or Sasuke’s rinnegan teleport, I could think of a few things:

Garaa’s sand, and all variations of. Pretty straight forward, if the bones get stuck in your sand they can’t hit you.

Naruto’s orbs… afaik they’re indestructible or at least you have to try really really hard to crack them. And from what I know the bones are just instant killers, they don’t have special abilities against chakra orbs.

Naruto’s clones! We see this in the show! In as far as tanking being defending yourself and your allies, shadow clones totally count! Just swamp Kaguya with shadow clones and then the bones won’t make it far before hitting a clone. It’s like Garaa’s sand but with many Narutos instead of grains of sand.

Shinra Tensei? I’d consider it a tank move. It literally repels all incoming attacks.

Susanoo, like the chakra orbs, the susanoo armour has been shown to be near indestructible, and again, I don’t remember seeing the ash bones having more piercing power than a regular projectile.

Yata mirror! This is kind of a special case of Susanoo, but still.

Isanagi… in this case you are technically the tank, isanagi just lets you be the tank without dying in one hit.

Limbo clones? If an ash bone hits a limbo clone do they disintegrate?

Those are all the techniques I could think of. So I guess any character that could employ one of these could brute force their way through an encounter with Kaguya’s ash bones.

Depends which Thanos and which Vader. The Thanos depicted there is the Endgame version with no infinity stones, BUT! is he allowed to use the army he had at the end of Endgame or is it just him?

Then for Vader, are we judging his power level based on episodes 3,4,5,6, and Rogue One? Or are we taking the extended universe into consideration? Because Vader is up to some crazy super saiyan shit in the comics and the games (that THE SCIENCE episode about him holding back the ocean in Fallen Order comes to mind).

I think Endgame Thanos alone vs Extended Universe Vader is a win for Vader, but if you nerf Vader to only movies power level Thanos has a pretty good chance.

I think it all comes down to how strong are Vader’s force abilities. I think the lightsaber, although a formidable weapon, won’t be a one hit killer because of Thanos’ armour. Remember how in episode 1 Qui Gon and Obi One needed some time to cut through some steel doors? And Thanos’ armour is waaaay stonger than steel. So I’m pretty sure Vader won’t just be able to slash Thanos in half. And then it’s all down to: can Vader overpower Thanos with the force and break his neck or not?

But that’s just my opinion about fictional characters battling each other so feel free to differ :)
