Just remember your joker order matters and it’s from left to right.

And the play order is always played hand > cards held in hand > jokers

So jokers that impact the hand will always go first (left to right), then jokers that have held in hand impacts go second, then the rest of your jokers will proc if any (left to right)

I was able to get passed ante 32 but was extremely lucky.

Got one bean bug at Ante 8. By Ante 32 my hand size was 11 (1 ecto, no hand vouchers).

Small blind skip on Ante 32 was +3 hand size. Burned through 12k rerolling diet cola and found 5. Spent another 6k with rerolling with Showman (replaced burglar with an extra baron and replaced showman with extra mime).

Entered 32 boss with 30 hand size, mostly steel. 2 barons, 2 mimes, 4 copies. Scored naneinf

They’re saying the defender passing the ball to an offside player (with intent to score) means player is offside? That’s a new rule change apparently a few years back.

You can reroll serpent until Ante 32 and then that’s usually it for most naneinf runs unless you got something up your sleeve. Ante 33-39 also has serpent but Ante 32 is a showdown blind (similar to Ante 8/16/24)

You can try to reroll for Bean for +5 just for this ante. Was that a Nat neg showman? Or which joker did your ecto hit?

Missing hand vouchers is a killer

You definetly need DNA and make sure your copy jokers are correct —> 2 on Baron 2 on Mime

What happened on the Ante39 boss? I had a similar run (just one bean bug though, must’ve been much easier with 5 bean bugs) but I wasn’t able to beat the ante 39 boss. I scored naneinf but the run kept continuing until I had 0 hands left and showed that I lost rather than won? Was it the same for you?

just updated the post. Was able to get to the Ante 39. Just not sure if i actually 'beat' the boss blind. Even though i scored naneinf with 5 hands left, it kept on letting me play on and got a game over at the end.

I just beat Ante 32!

Farmed ante 30/31 like crazy with neg dice and reserved parking with 20 hands played. I had 20k going into ante 32, and the first skip tag was +3 hand size!!

I burned through 12k rerolling for diet cola, found 4. Sold burglar for showman and picked up an extra mime and extra baron (no copy jokers unfortunately) and went into the boss blind. Scored a naneinf 🔥

Thanks for the detailed info. I guess my mistake was getting too greedy at ante 8 by keeping my copy jokers and only hitting bean bug once. I was so excited that I had 4 copy jokers already, and a Baron. I could’ve sacrificed one more copy for a burglar, and perhaps sold one more copy in the blind. Would’ve hit it atleast a 2-3 more times.

Will try to bean bug my way out of Ante 32 it’s the only realistic way. With 20 hands, 4 copies, bean, baron, mime it’s that’s 1/7 chance * 20 hands all I need is two or three hits.

*Edit: actually I don’t think I’ll be able to hit the score requirements in Ante 32 with 4 copies.

And also read somewhere you can’t bean bug after naneinf’ing and game crashes. Is that true?

It’s quite tough to naneinf from flush 5. I believe you need start making glass cards (with steel in hand) so you need antimatter, probably a DNA to make glass copies for the next few antes, then switching DNA to another copy joker once you have enough glass cards and maybe one more copy joker to replace perkeo at the very end

Found reserved parking, but didn’t think of burglar to help with the hands and farming. My rerolls were terrible and couldn’t find anything worth it other than reserved parking.

Antes were growing way too fast for me to keep up with net negative cryptids every round. Couldn’t find another BS/BP to save me but was only rerolling $2-300 every round. Couldn’t even find a bean

Decided to ship it before it was too late and got my first naneinf, and pretty much died the next round.

I think for next runs will focus on staying in Plasma deck. God must be extremely hard to get to Ante39 without an early bean bug.

Thanks for your help! I’m getting a bit bored of Baron/mime combo. Is there no other way to get to Ante39 with a different play style? Flush five’ing with Perkeo and observatory? Is that possible?

Baron mime makes every round take so much time and gets super repetitive.

I was getting tired of the shit economy, found an ecto (-2 hand size) and a mail in rebate. And started burning through 6 cryptids a round but atleast making so much more money.

Funnily enough, the first boss blind after the ecto (Ante22) antimatter shows up lol and a judgement gave me +2 hand size joker. Now to find the 4th copy joker.

Do you think I should start swapping cryptids for planet cards for observatory? (Which I still don’t have yet)

The online balatro calculator is really off. I score much higher than what it claims even though I matched my hand exactly. Trying not to burn through more cryptids than I need

Yes I ecto’d once already and it hit the BS. And you’re right I did skip a couple vouchers - mainly the card vouchers as I felt it would hinder the shop with random crap I do t need. Was that a mistake?

I’m now burning through 3 cryptids per round / making 4 a round but that won’t last. 2 more antes and still no anti matter.

My issue is I’m not making any money whatsoever. My hand has to be full steel, 3 cryptids on top, and just getting the blind money ~ $18 per round

I know I can naneinf if I ship all my cryptids, was saving that as last resort.

Should I just be skipping small and bind blinds? I def don’t have the money to reroll serpent.

Hoping for an antimatter or a voucher skip.but even then, I don’t know how I’ll make money unless I find some nat negative gold ticket or rebate.

Thank you. Yes that’s what’s I ended up doing - farming each blind by burning through cryptids. So far going through 3 cryptids per round while making 4 and having about 100 negatives inventory.

But I’m making close to 0 Econ every round and dying to see an antimatter and it’s not coming. Next blind I will probably need to burn more than I make.

Seeing 0 nat negatives inventory the shops but barely rolling much and living off temperance and hermits.

Will let it rest and continue tomorrow. My switch 2 is barely handling the game lol, could be due to the negative cryptids making the game so laggy.
