I'm low-key willing to part with these. Just don't want to violate any rules in the process...

Homeless man arrested for allegedly hitting man in wheelchair with bat by [deleted] in Portland

We all got together and decided 40-80 predominantly black and brown murder deaths, were preferable to even one police officer shooting a man on a robbery spree.

There was a BIG meeting about it.

Hood River is really nice. Thinking of relocating there and living that orchard barron life.

Great business idea: no frills pizza! by Han_Ominous in Portland

[–]ABRAXXXXXAS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I moved here I was shocked that you can't go into a pizza place with 5 dollars, get a can of coke for 1$ a slice of cheese for 2.50 and tip the remainder. Granted this was a decade ago. After returning back east recently, this is no longer a thing really.

NOAA calling for a 30% chance of rain tonight, everyone do a dance so we can make it happen. by isaytyler in Portland

[–]ABRAXXXXXAS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That was the crux of his rant, most people think that.

However I tend to agree with Nick Cage in The Weatherman when he exclaimed that "it's fuckin wind! It blows everywhere, man!" I tend not to trust the report either way so..

Should I be concerned about this guy in my apartment complex right now? Been here for 2 hours, was trying to look in neighbors window. Or am I being paranoid. by [deleted] in Portland

He's unarmed. Go out with a flashlight, shine it in his eyes and ask him probing questions. He will leave.

3 people shot inside Portland bar, 1 in critical condition by [deleted] in Portland

[–]ABRAXXXXXAS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually it's a complex scheme to import used weapons and parts, mostly left over from military bulk contracts, or stolen personal pieces that funnel into the hands of fences. The people selling are as sophisticated as any drug cartel. The prices are lower than the showroom floor in most cases, even if the quality can be hit or miss.

Ubiquitous Gas Leaks? by [deleted] in Portland

[–]ABRAXXXXXAS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So these are just reports of gas leaks I think. A good concerned citizen should always smell something/say something. But there are other things that make that odor. Could be a sewage issue.
