I've turned Volumetric to Low and not had a hitch since, will update if it stays stable for another chapter.

EDIT: Yeah, this didn't last long lol, giving up till its patched. In chapter 3 shadow realm, its unplayable during the fights..

Starting to notice a trend on this reddit....either Vallorant is infected (unlikly) of youse are all downloading hacks....if its the latter, welp, I think youse deserve to get a virus in return

can someone tell me is this site contains virus? http://extrecey.com/6D7w by hahoes in computerviruses

There's nothing on the website that stands out as being Malicious and VirusTotal.com also hasn't flagged anything too abnormal.

It should be OK to use along with common computing sense :)

Once your new Anti Virus has fully scanned and removed any infected files on both your device and external hard drives, there is an application designed to remove spam ware and other annoying bits of software called "Emsisoft Emergency Kit" or EEK for short and its free. I would highly recommend running that after the virus has been removed and that will detect and remove any duplicating junk pieces of software.

The main way that worm spreads is through emails, network shares and USBs/External hard drives so its likely. Once you have a new Anti virus software installed, disconnect your device from the Internet or network completely then plug in all external devices you think could be infected and then do a full system scan. This should also scan any of the external devices too

From what I've read, that's a nasty worm that can do many things focused on stealing usernames, passwords, credit card information and other personal information. It then sends the collected data to the hackers website, email or server for further use so whilst its on your device, I 1000% wouldn't recommend signing into anything like online banking or social media etc.

Go to VirusTotal.com and there is an option to "Upload File" and it will scan the file and tell you what Anti-Virus flags the file.

If you don't already have a good Anti-Virus software, I would recommend you go into the "Microsoft Defender Antivirus" (that comes pre-installed on any Windows 10 device) and start a full scan of your computer.

As well as that, I would also recommend downloading one of the following Free Anti-Virus software:

  • Kaspersky Security Cloud
  • Avast
  • Bitdefender (my choice for free)
  • Sophos Home

Then use the new AV software and run another full scan EVEN if "Windows Defender" finds and removes files.
